In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Abhira breaks down as she questions Armaan, asking if he had called her only to hurt her emotionally. Armaan responds firmly, saying the time has come for them to take a strong and practical step. He suggests that Vani should be sent to a boarding school. Abhira immediately refuses, stating that Vani is now her responsibility and she cannot abandon a child like this. Armaan argues that the decision is not about abandoning Vani but about her well-being, as Maira is slowly getting affected by the situation at home.

Abhira Refuses to Give Up on Vani

Abhira strongly defends Vani, reminding Armaan that she is still very young and does not deserve to be sent away. Armaan explains that Maira has begun feeling insecure because of Vani's presence. He questions Abhira's intentions, asking why she wants Vani to stay in a house where she constantly feels uncomfortable and out of place. Kiara tries to speak to him, but he ignores her as well. Manisha apologises to Surekha for the complications arising from Abhir and Kiara's relationship. The two women share an emotional moment and hug each other.

At the competition venue, Maira performs her dance with confidence, and Armaan enjoys cheering for her from the audience. Just then, Abhira arrives with Vani, leaving both Armaan and Maira shocked. Abhira tells Armaan that she will explain everything later. She encourages Vani to dance confidently and make her mother proud. During the performance, Abhira quickly steps in and saves Vani from falling. Watching this, Maira feels hurt and questions Armaan, asking why Abhira missed her performance but seems so invested in Vani's dance. Armaan is left speechless, unable to answer.

Meanwhile, Manisha and Manoj reach the Goenka house. Manisha immediately senses tension in the air. Kiara asks her to stay calm, but Manisha loses her temper when she finds out that Surekha served her papaya, which was not suitable for her condition. Surekha realises her mistake too late. Manisha firmly insists that Kiara should return to the Poddar house, stating that she is not safe here. Kiara tries to reassure her, but the situation worsens when the doctor informs Abhir that Kiara is facing pregnancy-related complications due to drug addiction. Surekha drags Manisha out of the room, leaving Abhir and Kiara deeply worried.

Back at the competition, Abhira attempts to talk to Armaan and explain her actions, but Maira walks away hurt. Armaan follows Maira, trying to calm her down.
