I find the track on elopement of Shivani not only potrays the Amer royal family in bad light but also has unfavourable potrayal of Raja Bharmal. It showed that Bharmal was aware of Shivani's involvement and love for Tejwant but did not do more to 'nip it in the bud'. He sent her off to Agra but did not bother telling Jodha on what was going on.

Precisely!!

And this is what the real Bhaarmal did anyway. Marriedoff his eldest daughter Heer/Heera Kunwari/ Jodha Bai to the Emperor Akbar so that he could save Amer & sit on his raaj-gaddi & throne again as the Ruler of Amer!

I don't find it un-fair or in-authentic. They all used to do the same, what is so suprising about this, I've yet to figure out.

look 1st of all real bharmal also got jodha to marry akbar just to save his kingdom & also to be safe. so whts wrong in bharmal's portrayal?? bharmal was never a MP. 2ndly even if look at sukanya's case, no king will want his daughter to get married to a common man. he would have anyways forced his daughter to marry sumone else. wht do u think rajvanshis never forced their daughters to get married due to political marriages??? in fact, real jodha was also forced to get married to akbar.
P.S.:- as per portrayal goes even ruquiya, bakshi bano were also portrayed wrongly. why only mughals will be shown wrong??? even rajvanshis can also go wrong. right & wrong doesnt belong to a particular community.

How about Mayhem part in the entire sordid saga coming out in the open?
So Raja Bharmal gets punished while the REAL person responsible goes scot free?

Remember Shivani's marriage is fixed in DEK before she gets to know. Then Mayhem blackmails her into saying yes in DEK
Then Mayhem basically threatens her into running away - if Shivani had not run away & Mayhem showed letters the wedding would not have taken place anyway

Here we get Mayhem taunting Jodha!😡

The CVs are letting everybody else including Jalal look like a fool
