Aryan as a brother

Was Aryan a protective brother for Mallika or he was just taking advantage of the fact that the relan ship between Armaan and Mallika was weaking after the Singapore trip and he wantedto get the Gulmohor Chairman's sear

I think he WAS concerned as a brother, but at the same time, since he was so obsessed with the Chairmanship, he might have wanted to use the differences between Mallika and Armaan to his advantage. I think he had a low opinion of Armaan per se, and this factor contributed to his attitude towards BOTH things: Mallika and Armaan's engagement, and Armaan's Chairmanship. He thought Armaan was deserving of neither Mallika nor Gulmohur.
