My Views on Arnav Singh Raizada
Okay before starting I need to clear that till September 2013 I had never watched all episodes of IPKKND.
I came to know about the existence of a show called Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon on the 7th April of 2012. That day I was watching the last episodes of Baat Hamari Paaki hai, when my eyes fall on a related video which was showing a girl on top of a man, but I ignored it. Then when I moved to the next episode of BHPH I saw again the same video and fortunately, for me, my eyes fall on the mangalsutra around Khushi's neck and I was like I have to watch it, let's the episode end and then I'll watch it.
Okay I admit it, I love this types of shows where they develop or confess their love after marriage, kya karoon, to me they seems more real than those love stories where they declare their love before marriage and uske baad tata bye bye.
So I watched the video and what happened next, I think it's quite obvious, I started watched the episodes going backwards, yeah I know it's crazy, but it gives you a different feeling when you watch something from the end to the start. But being a lazy soul I stopped, I watched just till the second week of March and after that I started watching just Arnav and Khushi's love scenes.
But thanks to the NL of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, I forced myself to watch the episodes from the start and now after watching 135 episode I had noticed something that I had never noticed in other shows, or should I say something that took ma attention, and that is how the CVs have developed Arnav Singh Raizada's character and the way Barun Sobti has portrayed it.
From first episode to episode 135 the change is really big, but at the same time you don't feel like he changed, the change come in a very smooth and slow way that you don't feel like once ASR was a rakshash.
I had compered ASR's character with other shows and I can proudly say that till now ASR's character is the best one, it showed to us all the shades that we can, we want to see in a man.
I fall in love with ASR from the first time, personally I had never felt so much connected with a character like ARS's ones. Being a girl I should be connected with Khushi, but for me it was the opposite and it never happened till that day. I always stayed on girls side but with Arnav Singh Raizada all changed and I think the main reason was the aura of mystery that surrounded him, his being soft from inside and rough outside and those moments when he showed how much fragile he was, how much pain he was hiding under that mask of indifference and hatred.
I had seen that in shows it happens that the characters change really fast, that you feel like it's not real, you feel like it can't happen in the actual world, because no one change completely in one day. But thank God it doesn't happen with this show. And I can also say that if this show had the success that it had and still have, it's a lot a cause of the way ASR was, I'm not talking about Arnav, but ASR, the person that we see from day one till their contact marriage, that is the part of the show which to me is memorable. It shows you that in the world there are men like ASR and that they just need the right person to broke their protective shell and give them the chance to live again and let them discover that in this world full of hypocrisy there are selfless people like Khushi too.
With this I just want to say a very well done to the CVs who managed to write such lovely scenes that showed each shade of Arnav Singh Raizada and developed his character so gracefully.
But the full credit goes to Barun, he played the role in such a wonderful way, that not for even a moment I thought I his just an actor playing a role, which sometimes happens to me, but Barun with his acting skills and his expressions is able to captured you so much that you feel like Arnav Singh Raizada exist in real too. Hats Off to Barun for playing the role in such a way that I never felt like we are going back and further in the development of the character. The CVs can write scenes but if the actor is not able to interpret them in the right way then their efforts are useless.
Theese are my views and I personally prefer ASR more than Arnav. Uss mein ek alag kashish thee.
What you think about him!
