I agree...am also not liking this...
Inspector singh is also called 'sir'
she is saying that in TA both men and women are trated equally no one is different but she is really just making all women become men...

Cutting ones hair doesn't make one manly, or having long hair doesn't make one womanly. Outwardly it may make a difference but its the thinking, attitude of a person that matters! That's the lesson sir ji will learn. Sir ji is a stereotype of the other extreme of babho!
Nice post Rama!

I absolutely agree with you. I mean what is wrong in not cutting your hair? So what if Sandhya is a girl? And it isn't wrong to have girly acts either. It is not required for Sandhya to cut her hair. And I also agree with you for when you said that officer Singh had said that no one discriminates in this academy when really she discriminates herself. Great post by the way :)

Good post...I've been inactive of late but watching the episodes all week long.
The first time Sandhya's hair got stuck...I was like...hairnet...but Agrima Sir said cut that hair.

Can she really demand that from a cadet, especially if Sandhya comes up with a reasonable solution? Maybe.

Should she? No.

I think making such demands despite an alternate solution being present would be unfair.

@Ramadi as I said Sirji is the other extreme of Bhabo. I was happy that Sandhya didnt cut her hair and I dont think a woman has to lose her identity to prove her. I hope Sandhya will change the perception of Sirjee before the training is completed

Absolutely right you are.
I was thinking the same thing. By gender equality we do not want to blend as men. We just have to establish that women can also do everything while keeping their identities intact.
I did nopt like this 'ladkiyon wali soch' line. We do not need to think like guys to be successful.
