| Kaajjal is now in safe hands. The show will henceforth be produced by Shreya Productions instead of K Sera Sera, which had been producing it so far. When K Sera Sera decided not to produce the show any further, failing to garner good TRPs, the channel decided to hand it over Shreya Productions, which is currently running shows like Ek Lakdi Anjaani Si on Sony and Mamta on Zee. Says Sheel Kumar, producer (Shreya Productions), "A few days ago, the channel called us and asked us to take over Kajjal, which apparently is going through some crisis. I think Kaajjal has a good storyline. We plan to smoothen up the operations of the show besides improving on the creative potentials." Says a source from the production house, "I believe the operations were not smooth and the show was not being handled properly by K Sera Sera. They have already incurred huge losses and therefore decided against continuing with the show." |
