Eeek, I love the actor! He's so amazing! There are only so much villains that are great actors and have a great characterisation such as one is Vishwajeet as RP/Kalavati and the other is Alka who plays Razia in QH.

Awesome analysis of RP/Kalavati.

The feeling on seeing Kalavati is really indescribable . Like you mentioned one second you feel sad at her state of affairs. You just cannot help but feel for Kalavati and want to tell her its ok to be different. At the same time when you see the dance den there are times that you just want to laugh at what happens there and there are times like when her anger gets the better you have chills.

The transition between the roles is so seamless however you can see that kalavati is what he prefers to be . His heart and his actions are that of Kalavati as we have seen that even being RP his expressions and body language are that of Kalavati behind close doors.

Vishwajeet Pradhan really gives us a good performance playing these two characters where neither really deserve the sympathy for the actions.

And yeah I totally agree! At times I myself don't know how to react! Like you said you feel sad, you laugh, you get angry and then you have the chills whenever Kalavati is on screen. There's a sudden rush of emotions that changes within a few seconds. And that's partly due to the character and partly due to the actor. 👏

I myself feel a bit chill whenever it's RP on screen but then there's that few second where his body language becomes that of Kalavati's! Like when he first meets Tara as RP and he subtly uses Kalavati's body language like the hand movement - that itself makes it scary (not as in horror but like I don't know how you'd describe it but creepy?) because you never know what he/she is thinking!

I'm going to add a Game Of Thrones quote in here "When you play the game of thrones you either win or you die" - basically everyone has their own motive, agenda and secrets but as all these coincides (probably that's where Tara comes into play as she'll be the likely one to unveil everything) - that's when you won't be sure who wins and who loses. And if Radha is alive, then that changes the whole game.

Ya Creepy it is.RP has driven fear of him in all but we know that he is the one who always is fearing about his secret being safe. Its due the fear that he has driven into all that they are not able ot see that he is always uptight and nervous. However when he is in RP mode and does Kalavati actions thats when its gets creepy. You don;t know what to expect next and the fear is there as to what is going to happen now.

I am not sure if anyone else feels it but its not just Kalavati I find RP;s room equally mysterious and eerie. The way the Shekhawats treat the room is just so weird and bizarre. It is RP;s safe haven where he is free to behave like Kalavati without the knowledge of anyone and hence the room too adds to the character of RP/Kalavati for me. Whenever they show the room there is always some revelation . Whether it be that we first saw some jewellery or the secret door or the first time we were introduced to dadaji;s through his photo.

Everyone and everything is intertwined and thats what EBI is. Its just one big puzzle that is slowly getting solved and Tara is the person who will piece them together . Radha surely is the biggest mystery and once thats revealed its going to be easy to solve this whole thing.

I think this is a really tough character and although its the character I think that the balance leans towards VP more as if was not able to do justice to the role we would have not had such a great show

Nice post. Like u said the character of kala/rp is one of a kind. U want to hate him and like him at the same time. I used to have the same feeling with klaus of TVD. Maybe it's cos they weren't born as a bad person but circumstances turned them to what they are. Vishwajeet ji plays the part to t.
