If i was iyer i would openly ask babita about it...but i am very sure babita will just downplay it and blame iyer for cheap thinking...afterall she is beautyfull and iyer ...not so much.

Iyer has so beautiful wife he can't stop everyone to staring & swooning at her.He should buy a burkha for Babita.He will have to trust on her because relation builds only on trust.If he try to doubt or do something he will definitely lost his respect & Babita.If he will say something to Jetha he willn't be proved something and then Babita never forgive him for his doubt.

If you ask me, I feel Poor Iyer is stuck in the situation.

If I were a man and husband of a beautiful wife, I will surely give a good talking to the man who is trying to flirt with my wife, may be even threaten him so that he can not dare again. I will also subtly convey a message to my wife that I don't like her encouraging that man. If she loves me and knows that I love her too, she will surely understand and get the message.

But Jethalal is clever and can turn the things in his favor accusing Iyer of doubting his friendship with Babita. Babita also may just say that they are friends. Although Iyer knows that they will not cross limits, it surely irritates him. Moreover it does not help when Jethalal tries to make fun of him even though Iyer has always helped him in any crises. Going out of town or ignoring is no solution.

Since it is matter between husband and wife directly confronting Babita is the only solution in my opinion. Also maybe exposing Jethalal's flirting in front ofDaya and society members could forever stop him.
