Prachi Desai is an Indian Tellywood actress best known for her role as Bani in the Hindi television drama Kasamh Se.

Personal
Prachi was born close-knit family in Gujarat, India. She completed her schooling from Surat in Gujarat and later on, came to Pune for higher studies. She was studying in Pune and had almost finished her junior college. It so happened that one day she came to know about this audition Balaji was having for Kasamh Se. She casually walked in and auditioned. What followed was a call from the production house and she was here, in Mumbai after spending one and a half year in Pune.
Kasamh Se
Kasamh Se is the Zee TV serial that Desai starred in and got her to fame. She has captured many a hearts with this program acting as innocent but strong willed Bani Dixit. In the serial Bani goes through many trials leading from forcefull marriage to the adultry of her husband. Through it all Bani learns to love her husband again. The show is still proceding and has millions of viewers world wide.

The Sixth Indian Telly Awards:
- Couple of the year - Prachi Desai and her co-star Ram Kapoor won the award for their on screen chemistry in the show.
- Fresh New Face of the Year (Female) - Prachi won the award and beat Zee TV's Saat Phere lead Rajashree Thakur
