Usually in Indian serials characters like Varun portrayed as too nice and innocent are not and turn out to be the opposite!

It was not possible for him not to be bad. He had come with the goons and Aman had said at the time of their first entry itself that their body build was of army people. The Uncle too was shown to be a complete lech and goonda.

I thought that he was innocent till the bidai but after bidai when he was talking to Paro he asked her to be patient as after crossing the border all her woes and worries will be over. This dialogue seemed a little fishy. How would her pain of leaving all her loved ones be forgotten after crossing the border? It showed that probably they had planed something bad for her too.

Something about him...I never liked him from day one so i always suspected him to turn on a dime. like someone mentioned earlier they wouldn't have Rudra kill someone who was positive or innocent it wouldn't have been well reflected on his character.
