Either Mental or Too Clever

Seeing Shlok's behavior raises two scenarios:

1. He is either very stupid.
If we wants to save his father from hurt and save his reputation and name, then he is doing extremely stupid things like abducting Aastha from her home. Trying to run over Kalindi and Aaju. Behaving like an idiot in front of Police etc etc. Surely, anyone with common sense will knows that this is calling for trouble and damage his Dad's reputation more. Seems unlikely as Shlok is a very smart/shrewd guy.

Or Shlok is

2. Too Clever
Maybe he has realized that his father is too bothered with his 'image' but has been instrumental in spoiling his life (his ex-girlfriend, through his Mother, Anjali) and now is worried would do same to Aastha. So he is communicating to his father, that if Shlok behaves like his father (an animal) with his wife (Aastha), it is not acceptable by society and Aastha needs to be treated differently in that household and not like Anjali, & Sojal. Only Shlok can change his father, as Niranjan loves Shlok madly, & considers him intelligent. Varad cant do that.

i think shlok is very angry right now cos he has nothing to blackmail aastha with

Actually Shlok answered that questions when Astha talks to him in jungle about the dog...
he says " mein sirf divert karaha haun"
when ever Shlok feels that Astha has done something because of which his dad will me angry and take action against Astha...Shlok himself goes and does these stupid things...so NA's attention is diverted to his own son. If own son is abducting and bring rude in front of police..
NA cannot say anything to Astha...isnt it..

So yes in my opinion he is being very clever!
