Okay..So what do you think was the best of 2013? In terms of movies, performance, song, album, choreography etc.? Lets keep Box Office out of this..Just your opinion on what you consider the best of 2013 cos am pretty sure none of the awards are gonna do full justice in this regard😆

IMO, Best Film-Lootera hands down..Brilliant stuff..I liked it more than Udaan cos thats how beautiful it was..

Best actor-Dhanush for Ranjhanna..I know Farhan from BMB is popular opinion but i liked Dhanush more..You take him out of the film and it falls flat..Farhan and Ranveer come a close second though..

Best actress-Sonakshi Sinha..This a no contest for me cos i haven't seen a mainstream actress deliver such a performance in years..And am not even exaggerating 😆 I thought Sona was outstanding..She owned every single frame of Lootera..Such a powerhouse of talent..Its sad though that she just doesn't care😆

Best Album-Aashique 2..YJHD is a close second..

Best Song-Manmarziyaan..Yeah, again i know popular opinion says Tum hi ho but i believe Manmarziyan is the song of the year..Brilliant composition..Its so liltingly beautiful and Shilpa Rao just lifts the song to a different level altogether..

Best choreography-Badtameez Dil hands down..Ranbir owned the song IMO😆

Edit to add-Star of 2013 has to be DP..I cant think of any other heroine in the past few years who has seen so much success in such a short period of time..

Okay, so what do you guys think? Who or what do you think was the best of 2013?

Best Film. Ranjhanna. YJHD CE

Best actor. Dhanush Ranbir Ranveer. Farhan

Best actress Deepika

Best Album YJHD

Best choreography-Badtameez Dil

Best Song Subhannallah.

I wasn't that much impressed with any performance or movie this year. 2013 was the year of mediocrity. No best from my side.

Edit: Was impressed with a few... but those are forgettable performances, movies, music.

Agree to the post completely..Except for 2 things..

I think Dhanush and Ranveer(In Lootera) were equally top notch..

And In the album list I would add Lootera..

Lootera is the best film that I have watched may be after Taare Zameen Par #ItsMyOpinion

Best Film. lootera

Best actor. ranveer for lootera (also liked irfan,dhanush,farhaan,rajkumar rao)

Best actress sonakshi(she was best of the year,i also liked sonam,deepika)

Best Album aashiqui 2( also liked kai po che,ranjhanaa)

Best choreography nagada sang( also liked gandi baat)

Best Song sun raha hai

best singer Arijit singh and shreya ghoshal(sun raha hai and nagada)

best newcomer: dhanush

Best Film-Lootera

Best actor-Dhanush

Best actress-Sonakshi Sinha.

Best Album- Lootera...close second and third being YJHD,RL

Best Song-lol so many...cant choose..Definitely nt Tum hi ho though..sorry I find tht song overrated

Best choreography-Badtameez Dil,Nagada

Star of 2013 = Deepika Padukone hands down..her movies had the widest reach among all groups of audience all over the world...she was the one who gained both popularity and critical praise alike this year.

Best Film- Lunchbox

Best actor- Farhan akhtar(BMB) and Ranveer singh( Lootera)

Best actress- Deepika Padukone( CE) and Sonakshi(Lootera)

Best album-- BMB,Boss and Aashiqui 2

Best choreography--- Bezubaan(ABCD)

Best Song- Har kisi ko(Boss) and Tum hi Ho( A2)

Best singer(Male)- Arijit singh(Tum hi ho and Har kisi ko)

Best singer(Female)--sona mohapatra(Ambarsariya) and Monali thakur(Sawaar loon)

Yeah compared to 2012, 2013 was pretty mediocre..You din like Sona in Lootera?😆

I said Dhanush mainly because i believe the movie is nothing without him..Sonam was good but the dude just owned it IMO😆 Ranveer was brilliant too but i think Sona was better than him..

Oh and i totally agree about Lootera..It was perfection..

- Best Movie: BMB and Lootera.
- Best Actor: Between Dhanush, Farhan and Rajkummar. Farhan for his dedication in BMB, Dhanush and Rajkummar for their raw talent.
- Best Actress: tossup between Sonakshi and Deepika. Sonakshi performance owned Deepika in one movie (Lootera,) but Deepika performances in all of her movies last year were much more impressive than Sonakshi flowerpot roles bar Lootera. I chose Deepika because it's really hard to root for someone who's naturally talented but wasted their talent just because they don't want to step out of their comfort zone.
- Best Album: Lootera and A2. (special mentioned: Raanjhaana)
- Best choreography: Nagada sang dhol
- Best singer: Arijit singh hands down
- Best song: Tum Hi Ho. Unpopular opinion but i actually like Tum Tak from Raanjhaana too.
