why critics are so harsh on yaariyan??

If the same movie was made by Kjo (Karan Johar), critics must have given it more than 3 and in the comments section too same trend will go. We are too much star and banner possessed , if AAMIR was doing a lead in this movie people will rate it as blockbuster and superb entertainment flick and even accept a 48 years actor as a college going student; just because its a new director with new starcast we have every reason to say no to this. People who are teaching directors and producers must make their mind clear as what they exactly looking at Indian cinema. When you watch spiderman, ironman etc audience condemns that India cannot make movie like this but when Indian make technically superb movies like eega and krrish 3 people start crying that they are copycats of Hollywood cinema and the same audience turn sEnseless like dabangg and bodyguard into blockbusters. I believe cinema is all about entertainment , if a movie succeed 3 hours doing it , its worth watching. If we are really looking for logics then clap for yourself we have made a highly illogical scripted Dhoom3 as the highest grosser ever in Indian cinema.. as i never found SOTY logical n quiet same as yaariyan bt that was given 4 stars by critics?? why?? its just bcz he is influential director 🤢 ...

m not saying yaariyan is a masterpiece bt critics are searching sense in that .. it z funny , while no one try to look at sense in d3 nd soty... 😆

1 star & 2 star movies make more moolah, why would the producers give critics rokda?

I think, this year big banners would pay critics to give less than 2 & a half stars; so that, their movies becomes blockbusters. 😆

becoz the male lead looks UGLY...he looked better in that Channel V show.

Well screw critics, judge a movie yourself. However, what has yaariyan? Lead actor looks lost, with a silly grin, etc. I mean where does this concept come from that take young actors, and it'll be a youth movie or good movie. From the first sight it looked rubbish, no acting, nothing worthy. And Karan johar, SOTY, was not that big hit(I guess), it was just okay. Apart from that, there is genre in which karan is perfect, to evoke emotions. KKHH or KKKG, people love it, its not that people always love stars, otherwise swades or TZP would had been superhit.
