Okay so I have been thinking long and hard (may be the writers don't even think like this, but I am thinking, lol) about Naina being Girish's biological daughter.
Early on, when Lavanya was getting angry at Paakhi, she had made a statement, that kisike bache ko apna kehne aur apnane mein bahur farak hota hai... She went on this rant about how you can never accept a kid who is not your own, and she expects Paakhi, to like every other woman, not give her 100% to Ayaan as a mother.
Today, it is revealed that Lavanya is in the same boat as Paakhi, albeit the nature of deceit and betrayal i different. Lavanya has often also stressed that she is no gaon ki gori who will accept any behavior meted out to her by her husband.
Now, this track can go two ways.
Either, it is going to be a learning lesson for Lavanya , who will begin seeing Paakhi in a different light, or it is going to be a learning lesson for Anshuman, who will realize how Paakhi is so different.
As Lavanya may struggle to accept Naina after this revelation, she may derive strength from Paakhi to do so, and in this process learn to respect her... Or if she decides to call it off with Girish, Anshuman may realize the gem Paakhi is to value relationships so much, and begin accepting her. Though, the chances of this going stereotypical are high (Lavanya moves in and Paakhi tries to help her, but is always at the receiving end of Lavanya, MJ and Anshumans plans) I am curious to see if this revelation instead, brings a change in Lavanya and helps Paakhi , no matter how small or subtle it may be.
On a side note, I really loved Ayaan today - by showing his disabled friend, they have shown how Pakhi understands that Ayaan too is not a bad kid, just misled.
