The Heiress
The notorious elder daughter of the Malik conglomerate is ruthless creature feared for crushing hearts and people alike. The legend that beauty is only skin deep precedes her presence. As soon as she steps off her bed in the morning, many fates are born and crushed. People are fired at the flick of a hand, suitors rejected with a wink. There has yet to be a man who isn't mesmerized by her and no woman who isn't a little jealous of her fortune. With beauty, brains, and riches plentiful, you might view her life as the picture perfect example of happiness. But inside her manor, the young mistress holds a secret so dark that she dare not reveal it even to herself.
The Hunter
Zain Abdullah is the living example of a rags-to-riches story. He has earned every penny of the multi-million dollar empire in his name today with his own blood, sweat, and tears. He is an honorable, respectful, and kind man who does unto others as he would have them do to him. From soul crushing poverty to a wealth of bounty, he's seen it all. And if his experience has taught him nothing else, he's learned to judge people based on their merit. The only thing that stirs his calm temper to a roaring storm is privileged rich kids who have known no life other than the one handed to them on a silver platter. Through a series of fated events, his life gets intertwined with one such spoiled rotten heiress and he pledges to teach her a lesson. She awakes in him the forgotten vengefulness against the unfairness of this world.
Minor Characters
Sikander Malik
Sikander in name only, this rich brat is a man-child living in the perpetual shadow of his genius older sister. A high school dropout, who spends most nights hidden under the skirts of hired consorts, he is envious of the heiress' success and always looking to put a damper in her plans. Sikander is strangely aware of his stupidity but will go to the ends of the earth to hide his real act.
Rohail Malik
A retired business tycoon and a dotting father in the world's view, this man is a god on earth for all his people. For anyone who has had the good luck of meeting with the Malik behind all Maliks, he will swear on the words "Rohail Malik can do no wrong".
Zainab Malik
A veteran politician of her time, Zainab ji is now retired and lives a quiet life as the woman behind two generations of the Maliks' success. Though no longer a public figure, Zainab has built this empire from the ground up. The bricks maybe laid by her husband but Zainab has plastered the stolen money of taxpayers, labour of vulnerable children and even the blood of innocent people to secure a bright future for her family. On the surface she seems a woman living in regret of her past mistakes but only her heart knows that she would do it all over again. Even if it meant more bloodshed, more chaos, and waging war against the unarmed, she would do it with her own hands for the happiness of her son.
