So apparantley HumTV will be launching in the UK very soon. The HUM TV shows that have been shown on Rishtey TV have been huge hits, getting the biggest ratings for the channel. Brit Asia are saying they spoke to someone from HUM TV who have confirmed HUM TV could end up launching in just a couple of months.

I have a feeling Mere Qatil Mere Dildar will be the last Pak drama to be shown on Rishtey, after that HUM TV will launch.

I'm glad it's launching because it'll be nice to watch the current dramas on TV instead of the net. At the same time I have this possesive feeling for the drama's I watch lmao. My mum and I are the only ones that watch pakistani dramas in our family, so I feel like I'm going to lose my exclusivity 😆

Biz Asia are reporting, HUM TV have been given a broadcast liscense by ofcom and are now getting ready to launch next month:

I hope they don't just put it on Sky. I have Virgin Media and the only Pakistani channel we have is ARY while Sky has all the other channels.

Haha, my mum does the same, she's like shall we watch a drama on youtube, and I always get frustrated with how the TV youtube keeps stopping and buffering so I end up watching it on my laptop while my mums watching it on TV lol. That happened with Kankar.

@KaShCrazyAneesa the britasia aritcle said it will broadcast on sky in a few months, maybe they'll put it on Virgin Media afterwards?

You guys are lucky! They removed Humtv here, in the USA..it's kind of annoying since then I just used to watch stuff as it'd air because my mom would always be watching the primetime shows..so I'd just join her..now it's harder to follow them because I don't watch them as soon as they air..except Shukk for now.

I didn't know it's gone off air in the US. May be they weren't getting enough ratings?

Wasn't HUM TV specifically made to appeal to the US market? That's what I heard a while back.
