So the much awaited SwaRon dance on Alvida finally aired, and for me it was honestly one of the finest performances SwaRon/VruShan have given on D3. It was just SO beautiful. The choreography, first of all, hats off to Shantanu and Macedon for showing us that they really can push their boundaries and do something completely different from what we have seen them do before...fusing Contemporary and Hip-Hop, they did such a splendid job of the routine and gave us something different to watch and fall in love with! And that choreography was translated brilliantly by VruShan...both of them danced so well, so clean and so co-ordinated. Plus the whole vibe of it, with the song and the steps and the emotional quotient, was just what it needed to be at least for me. I must laud the song choice too, here, because first of all it really is a beautiful song in itself and secondly it suits SwaRon so perfectly at this point in their story! 👍🏼
If there was anything that jarred, it was the lighting which was a tad too bright and needed to be a little toned down, and Rey's line being inserted while the act still hadn't ended. I would also have liked a few more emotional moments emphasised during the dance, would have given it an even greater emotional impact as a whole for me. But I'm too happy with the rest of it to dwell too much on these three things and let them bog me down. Bottomline: VruShanCedon were AMAZING tonight. ShanCedon choreographed beautifully an act that VruShan executed beautifully, and I'm a happy SwaRon fan as I type this out. Touchwood. Bas. 😃
