Khushi opened her eyes and looked around...The room was dimly lite. Dai ji was sleeping nearby. Khushi was very hungry. Quietly she walked out the room and was going towards the kitchen when she saw him standing by the pole...He, as if feeling her presence suddenly turned and asked...Hungry???

When he came back with a plate full of warm food, he found her sitting on one of the chairs in the courtyard.. Happy that she had listened, he walked to her and sat near her and started feeding her...

Khushi saw the first morsel coming towards her and she whispered...I can eat on my own...

Arnav...Ya, I know, no wonder you are hungry now...Ill feed you till im satisfied...Now eat...

Khushi had no choice but to eat from his hand...She took few bites in her mouth and finally gathered the courage to look up at him...His face looked tired and worried...And he was somehow avoiding looking at her...As he fed her again, she tried to look into his eyes...But he avoided direct contact. As if hiding from her...

Khushi gathered the courage and said...Tell me about my parents...

Arnav's hand stopped in mid air...He looked at her and nodded...She tired to look into his eyes again, but he shielded it too fast, before she could see into them...But Khushi did get a glimpse of it...They seemed sad and red...as if...as if...

Saying that he walked away...Not expecting any answers...Leaving Khushi alone and somehow very cold...She walked to her room quietly and went to sleep...

Khushi woke up early and saw that Dai ji had already woken up...She remembered last night n his last words...If you want me gone...I'll go...

Khushi got up from the bed...thinking...I dont want him gone...IM mad at him..but...still... She was about to leave the room and she noticed few suitcases stacked by the wall...WOndeing who did they belong too...She walked out and went in the kitchen...

Arnav just starred at her...Something had happened that had made her so upset...And it wasnt what she was saying...
