Part 22

Khushi kept herself in the room whole morning...She was hiding...Amma had also gone away...Now she had no where to go...Arnav had even knocked on her door...Khushi had just answered and said she was tired and was resting...She had been shocked to find out that Dai ji had known about the baby, but never told her...She owed too much to Dai ji...

It was afternoon now...Khushi was sitting with Nani ji...She had finally dragged Khushi out of her room...Anjali was on phone. The bell rang, drawing every ones attention...OP went to open the door and in walked a man...Khushi didnt know who it was...But she could feel the tension rising in the room...Anjali nearly dropped her phone...Nani ji and Payal were feeling uncomfortable...Khushi was feeling strange...She didnt like the face of this man...She looked at him and thought...He doesnt seem like a good man...

The man walked right in, greeted Anjali and was making his way towards them...Just then Mami stood up and said...Hello hi...She came near Khushi, took her by her hand and pulled her and said...Khushi I need you upstairs...RIGHT NOW... She dragged Khushi with her...Saying loudly...Bye bye Shyam...

Shyam came towards them but Anjali blocked him, hugged him and said...You are home? IM so glad...

Well...no one was glad to see him...And he knew that...

Mami took Khushi in her room and kept her there...Payal also joined them shortly...Khushi asked about the man...She was told he was Anjali's husband...Soon Arnav came and it was obvious he was very upset and unhappy... Khushi went to her room and stayed there...Something was not right and it had started with the arrival of that guy named Shyam...She wondered who he was...She didnt like him and didnt want to meet him at all...

Anjali had dragged Shyam to her room and had explained the situation to him...Telling him about Khushis condition and begged him not to say anything...Shyam had smirked...Anjali had hated that smirk...She knew what he would do...Wish she had taken that file from Amans office...Why had Shyam come home now...Too many questions...But no answers...

Nani ji had called Arnav and told him about Shyams return...He hadnt liked it and had rushed home...Now he was pacing in his room talking to Aman...Didnt know what Shyam would do...

Aman had also been shocked...What had happened? Why Shyam had returned so abruptly? He didnt know what was going on? He told Arnav to keep Khushi away from him...What more could they do???

Arnav was talking on the phone and there was a knock on the door...Anjali walked in and came near her brother and said...IM so sorry...

Arnav shaking his head...I dont like it...Why is he here? I dont know...I wish Amma was here...DAMMIT!!!...

Anjali came close and touched him on his shoulder and said...Nothing will happen...Trust me...I will handle it...

Arnav looked at his Di..He hated Shyam near her, and now Khushi...He didnt know what he will do...

Anjali spoke to him for a while, comforting and ensuring him that nothing will go wrong...They all will protect Khushi...She returned to her room...

Shyam was sitting on the sofa and he smiled as Anjali walked in and said...How much do I get to keep my mouth shut...

Anjali froze on the spot...She didnt know he would stoop so low...What did you say??

Shyam...You heard me my queen...What will I get?

Anjali, really angry now...What do you want?

Shyam...500,000 rupees...

Anjali...No...200,000...

Shyam laughed and said...You are in no position to negotiate...You know what I can do...

Anjali knew she had lost...She agreed and said...You will get it...But if you...

Shyam...My mouth is shut...I wont tell Khushi anything...

Somehow Anjali didnt believe him...She was loosing her patience with him...She asked herself...Why was she letting him do this to her and her family...Why???

Khushi was in her room. The whole day Payal had been hovering over her...She was tired of her and was now resting...She hadnt seen much of Arnav today, only had heard him...He had sounded very angry...Well...It was good she hadnt seen him...She didnt want to see him...Not after last night...What had she been thinking? How will she accept her husband, after all this...She was already so tense, now this new member had come...She hadnt liked him at all...How can Anjali be married to someone like him, she wondered...After a while she fell asleep...

Khushi woke up in the middle of the night...Something wasnt right...She sat up and touched her stomach...It was hurting...She wasnt hungry...It was a strange pain...She panicked and walked out the room...She saw the light on in Arnav's room...She hesitated...She didnt want to trouble him in the middle of the night...But she couldnt even ignore this pain in the stomach...She took a deep breath, went near the door and knocked...

It took him 5 seconds to open the door...He saw her and asked...Are you alright? Has someone said anything to you or harassed you??

Khushi was about to ask him who would harass her and what would anyone say to her...The pain came again and she touched her stomach and said...I need a doctor...My stomach is hurting...

Arnav didnt waste anytime and took her to the hospital...At the hospital he was given forms to fill and nurses were asking them what was wrong etc...

Khushi was lying on the stretcher...Arnav was answering them...She's two month's pregnant and has pain in her stomach...Call the doctor, do something fast...

One nurse asked...How is she related to you?

Arnav...She's my wife...Can you hurry up...

Khushi turned to face him and glared...What did you say?

Arnav ignored her and demanded to see the doctor...Soon the doctor came and took Khushi in the examination room...

Arnav was pacing the floor...Worried...Soon the doctor came and said...Nothing to worry...Shes fine, so is the baby...The pain was cause of gas...She must be tense about something...Look after her, give her good food. IM going to write few vitamins for her. Dont worry...

Arnav thanked the doctor and went to see Khushi...She was sitting on the bed and was about to jump down when the nurse said...No...don't even think of jumping down, now you will have to be careful of these small things...Ask this handsome husband of yours to help you get down...She giggled and left...

Arnav came towards Khushi and she said... I can get down by myself...

Arnav smiled and helped her get down...He knew she was angry at him...

She turned to face him and asked...Why did you tell them that you were my husband?? She was more angry at herself...Cause when he had said it, Khushi had wished he was...Her heart beat had increased a thousand times...

Arnav holding her hand and moving out the room...
What ? You wanted me to tell them the whole story? I wanted the doctor to check you ASAP and this was the only fastest way I could think of...Dont worry...The doctor said you shouldnt take stress...

Khushi let him hold her hand and she whispered...Dont tell anyone at your house about all this please...And not a word to Dai ji...Or she will scold me...

Arnav smiled...I wont...Dont worry...lets go...

When they both reached home, the house was still silent... Arnav made sure she locked her room and then he walked to his room...He was so worried...SO many things to take care of...He didnt know what next will happen...

Morning...

Khushi was at the breakfast table. Arnav was sending worried glances at her...She seemed fine...She should take care and rest...Arnav thought...

Mami ji came and sat beside Khushi and said...Anjali has gone to the temple with Shyam...They will return late...

Khushi turned to look at Mami ji and said... I missed meeting him...

Arnav screamed... You keep away from him...

Khushi was taken aback by his outburst...Mami intervened... Arnav...chill...

Now Khushi was looking from Mami ji to Arnav...Thinking what was happening...Somehow they don't want her to meet this guy Shyam...Well she was also vary of him...He didnt give off good vibes...But this was making her more curious...She excused herself and went up to her room...

When she left, Mami scolded Arnav...What are you doing?

Arnav...I cant stand him in the house...and will not tolerate him near Khushi...

Mami...Keep cool please...Anjali has promised me, she will keep him away from home and Khushi...

Arnav...She better...He stood up and left...

The driver parked the car outside Arnav's office and Anjali looked at Shyam and said...Ill be back soon...

Shyam...Oh, I know you will be back soon...I will be waiting for you...He smirked...

Anjali sighed and went up to Aman's office...He was waiting for her...She greeted him and went near the file cabinet and took out Shyams file and placed it on the table and said... I took this file from your drawer...

Aman...I left the drawer open so you could...I thought you must have read it by now...

Anjali smiled and said... How could I carry it out without you noticing it...

Aman laughed and said...I didnt think that far...

Anjali became serious and said...I still cant take this with me...Shyam is in the car...

Aman..No problem...I will scan them and email it to you...Please read and delete it...Or ASR will surely delete me...

Aman opened the drawer and placed the package on the table and said... Make sure he counts it in front of you...
Anjali picked it and looked at him...He knew she was feeling embarrassed...He said... Im sorry, he came back...I tried to keep him away...but...

Anjali sighed and said...I know..thanks..

Anjali turned to go out..Aman followed and opened the door for her and said... Please look after yourself...No one is worthy if they mean you harm...

Anjali looked at him and smiled and said...I will...Thanks...dont forget to email me...

Aman saw her leave and was very worried...He couldnt understand why a woman like Anjali was holding on to a man like Shyam...He didnt deserve her...She was too precious to be abused like this by that jerk...Wish he could do something for her...No wonder Arnav was on edge all the time...He sighed and picked up the file containing important information about Shyam...It was time she found out the truth about him...It was time she got free from him and make a life for herself...A better life...

As Anjali sat in the car, Shyam extended his hand out..Motioning her to hand the money to him...She saw his hand and said...I want you to count it first in front of me...

Shyam smiled and said...Dont you trust me?

Anjali smiled at him and said...Dont you trust me, my darling husband?? I told you, I will give you whatever you want...Just keep away from Khushi and Arnav...

Shyam smirked...Yes...and I have assured you...I wont say a word to her...

Anjali nodded and they went home...At dinner everyone was present but Shyam...Anjali had given him the money and he had promised to behave...Anjali had excused for him saying, he had a headache and would be eating in his room...Everyone had sighed with relief...

Everyone but Shyam...He was sitting in his room...His criminal mind working full time...How should he make life hell for Khushi and Arnav...He was in deep thoughts when his eyes fell on the huge wedding picture of Anjali and him...Hanging on the wall...His brain stopped for a second and then he smirked and said...Shyam you are brilliant...

khusi is staying away from arnav..while she is ryt in doing in her current state while her heart wants to be arnav as her heart remember him 😳

shyaam has come back and as usual khusi didnt like him...well that creep is like that...😡

arnav is in panic mode so is aman and rest of house...even anjali told shyaam to keep quiet but that creep want money for it...damn😡

while khusi is being protected every way by her family and she does miss arnav alot but didnt want to go further for it because for her she is married to someone...sigh...😕

when khusi felt pain she only remembered arnav ..😳.awweee...and arnav didnt took a minute to take her to hospital..😳

i loved hospital scene alot😳...he told nurse that he is her husband..and she got checked up and was fine 😆..hehe but she was angry on him .😆...even nurse told her that her handsome husband will help her...hehehe😆 arnav has sooo many girls drooling n him 😉

well arnav covered her complains well 😉...but in reality he is her husband...😳

anjali is trying soo hard to keep that creep away.😕..that creep just want money...😡

aman is also sad for anjali and was sad that he couldnt keep him away😕 ..and he wish anjali should be free from shyaam sooon😊...and i loved aman and anjali convo.😊..soon she will know about shyaam too

i think aman loves anjali...😊

i just hope everything goes well...that creep is planning something to destroy arshi...😡

i just wish arshi to be safe 😊

Congrats on the new thread.

OK so the devil is back. It's good that Anjali admonished him to do any harm to Arnav and Khushi. But he is taking money from her! And what is his motive this time?

I'm glad that Arnav mentioned Khushi as his wife.
