What the hell were CV's trying to portray that we can give the audience a lovely background, would show them that we think at highscale level, but they forgot that even in movies, when anybody dances, the focus is on dance itself whereas the background is subdued, so that the audience do not look beyond the dances.
The way they did that mirrored shot and the backlight was superb, I agree but what was the use, as we were not able to concentrate on the dance at all, which was the core element. The lighting was so prominent that it was dazzling the eyes and the moment you would be able to focus on the steps, they would go on that 3 angle shot with mirrors around and once again, the eyes move out.
Am sorry Rahul and Paul, and the actors who had put in such a lot of hardwork, but everything has gone to waste as no one was able to concentrate on anything except the lighting and those mirrored shots. 😕
