Anurag Kashyap to revamp Bhojpuri films

The filmmaker who has changed the face of
Bollywood by making films like Dev D,
Gulaal, Gangs of Wasseypur and so on, has
apparently roped in Manoj Bajpayee for his
Bhojpuri film. "He plans to start a Bhojpuri
film after the release of Bombay Velvet and
has already contacted Manoj Bajpayee to
play the central role since the actor who
comes from Bihar is familiar with the
language. The script is being written with
him in mind and will be set in UP, Anurag s
home territory.", a source was quoted by a
leading daily.
