Why couldn't Genelia make it big?
Dhurandhar mayhem in North America and overseas!!!
you are right, its always the execution thats lacking with the leads having to over compensate for it šOriginally posted by: adianasr
Lashy, my problem is the story telling - its being cliched - why only MA to catch the letter frm Shivani - why not Ruqu or even Rahim who runs with it to TE's room and reads it aloud and TE overhears.
There are so many other interesting ways to bring in the twist!!!! - I am OK with this triangle story too but not the way it is being told / presented!!! Its the same old MA saga when this could have been done in a more interesting way!!!Btw there was the convo of Benny baby and Mali - of mali making her malika - seems to me CVs are paving the way for Benny to give up her life for TE!!!!
whats not to love in that adorable scene šToday after a long time Jodha got an opportunity to tease Ja ...when he so wanted to hear his praise from Jo but madam didnt took his name as she understood what he wanted to listenš
Nice post lashyJA-JONo sooner, than Jodha walks in Jalal is reminded of the fact that he had to summon Benazir.'Just to postpone the matter, you've called upon Benazir, have you not?' she asks Jalal unhappilyJalal is amused 'Ya Khuda! How does she read my mind?' (Ermmm at this stage you haven't really been doing anything that requires a lot of grey-cell work Jalalš!)I thought just the same. His brains look whitewashed, clean and clear. Anybody can read him. Gone are the days when he used to say 'Yahan kya chal raha hai, nobody can decipher''Just as she's about to walk past his couch, she's suddenly stopped in her tracks - her hand had been grabbed by Jalal's firm grip.(Aaawww momentš³)
She turns around to look at him - surprised by this gesture. He wasn't too happy either - a hint of possessiveness flashing in his eyes 'I haven't yet given you permission to leave Jodha Begum' he tells herWhile she's trying to free her fingers from his grasp, he keeps roping them back in - refusing to give up 'Remember this Jodha Begum... all Mughal Emperors possess these qualities that you talk of...their method of expressing it might be different...but, we know how to fulfil all our relationships too...'If Jodha Begum, the biggest and brightest tubelight of Agra understood this, there wouldn't be any MUs of late
Jalal then lets her go with a part-mischievous smile - he'd seen all that he'd wanted to see so far!
BENAZIRBen's everyday mantra that 'Oh so, Jalal has called me here to rile Jodha Begum up again' is really needed no more! When Abul Maali speaks about her injecting the poison into him, I felt a literal 'yuck' reaction!š¤¢Ben-Mallika???? Is Abul Maali immune to snake venom?
TEJVEER - SHIVANII found this man to be quite handsome - his get up mars his personality. So, we get to see another lover secretly entering the palace to meet with his lady - hold her hand et al- I don't know if others liked this scene or not, but I found it different and good enough. Yes, it would have been near-impossible, but not entirely impossible. Anyway, many of us are here because we believe in fairy tales, don't we? Definitely made for better viewing than any scene with a 'B' in it.What are the palace guards doing? Are they too frozen like their Shahenshah's brain cells? Teju enters, peeps in, holds hands...
JA-JOFinally, today we got to see Jalal (RT) stand up and walk. (A hurrah moment for mostš!)What a relief!!!!!! One prayer answered! All right, yesterday I was supporting Jodha when she'd spoken to her parents before speaking to Shivani. However, today when Jalal brought up the issue that it was better to speak to Shivani and find out if they had her approval in the issue - especially since it was customary in Islam - then it made little sense for Jodha to shush it up with a 'No need!'(Why do the heroines always taken things upon their heads and land themselves and their repute in trouble? A few sensible conversations here and there would avoid all of this!)
Time for her Rajvanshi pride and pompousness to have a fall. Inspite of repeated hints by Jalal she kept harping about her Rajvanshi parampara, and was more intent on snubbing Jalal comparing him with his very good brother. When will she ever learn!! I was deceived by her touching plea to Kanhaa yesterday and thought that she was changing.š Mere hopes ko aaj Jodha Begum ne dhakka de diya.
Another point that Jalal made today, moved me 'I hope that this wedding is not considered by Shivani as a compromise'
Jalal continues to be unconvinced by the suddenly brought up Mughal-Rajvanshi angle (because of the renewed troubles it might bring along???) and whether Shivani is really glad to proceed with it.
Poor chap wanted to spare a grina torture for his bhaijaan tooš'Then why was our wedding according to Rajvanshi customs?' Jalal questions her - now glaring into her eyes. One could see mild resentment as he said so 'I don't want her to go through the same thing we went through''Because my wedding had been fixed with a person that I hated' (Sigh return of ghrinaš„±!)š. But thank God it was in past tense... Grina karthe the. So grina has not been pulled out of its grave...yet...'I hadn't compelled you to get married to me...' he spoke sternly, though unable to hide the hurt 'I also accepted all the conditions you'd laid...it was your Bapusa who'd come to me, seeking this alliance!'I wanted to clap. He made his point clearly.'I also know why Bapusa did so...because he'd been cornered into it...anyway, the circumstances are different now- and the groom is also much better than y..' and she stopsI wanted to punch her. She will never learn to look beneath the surface.š”š”š”
The last sentence was not needed at this point - looks like this Tom and Jerry are never going to give up! Nevertheless, I'm glad they brought one more issue from the past - and an important one i.e. their wedding...though no real proper talk was achieved!
MA is going to blow this issue out of proportion.MA was so elated. It was her field day today. She was angry of the entry of another Rajvanshi princess into the Mughal household and she unexpectedly got the chance to bring down the first
PRECAPAdorable at its best! The third party (Hakim and the audienceš) have gotta love it when two lovers are busy using them to target each other with light-hearted ego squabbles!Reminded me of the stories to the little girls in Amerššššš
My take -A good episode - especially compared to yesterday'sš Yes it wasšThe story feels like its picking up since we have the arrival of Abul Maali, Tej and Ameris at one goToo many tracks simultaneously might spoil an otherwise delicious broth in the form of JA. Let's see how it all goes!Green...because I like the colour. Why did ben have to vomit green? It could have been orange or purpleš
Brilliant Analysis di !!!šš¤ I too liked the yesterday's and today's epi! What I don't like is the way they r bringing in creeps again! Time n again, why MA has to roam like a Bhatakti aatma...Jab dekho takha jhanki..She is so creepš”š”
Anyways, awesome analysis.!!šš We r so lucky to have u with usš³Jodha Akbar FF : --- Who loves Him Most (M) --- Link to my other threads Thread 1 Thread 2 - Thread 3 :::::Thread 4::::...
