The beauty of love

A midst a gathering of people dressed in vibrant colors, celebrating the journey of a lifetime and showering blessings; she coyly peeks outside to catch a glimpse of her betrothed who has come from a faraway land. Her face is half hidden by a red curtain and her eyes are full of hopes and dreams. Maybe there is a fear of the unknown somewhere within and sadness of leaving behind loved ones, but at this point, anticipation triumphs.

He senses her furtive glances and turns his head around. Their eyes meet for the first time. Time stills for a moment. He is mesmerized and so is she. Stunned by her beauty, he is unable to take his eyes off. Her cheeks get infused with a lovely shade of red...red...the color of love...the color of the bridal attire...the color of sindoor that adorns the parting of hair.

A few stolen glances...a shy smile...and dreams of a beautiful future.

Maybe it's not just love yet...but the idea of falling in love.

But it is just as beautiful.

That's the beauty of love.

They are not in love, but they could be if fate didn't have other things planned for the two of them. And I loved the song they played, it enhanced the beauty of the scene so much.

Exactly, it's the idea of them falling in love that's so beautiful. They're not in love but they could be and they could have a nice, happy life together and you can basically see their life mapped out. I think that's what they're trying to show, the life they could have had. It's not love yet but it could have been if fate didn't have different plans.
