Priya Priya Badlani's serial Jab Love Hua has completed an year and though the actor is fond of her cast there's someone whom she cannot do without. "That has to be Ram Pyari," laughs Priya. "And though we did have a rocky start I have found my way around her," says Priya. But what about her other co-stars? "I get along well with everyone, but being an animal lover I am very fond of Ram Pyari," says Priya. Remembering the first time she had to shoot with a buffalo, Priya says, "I remember the buffalo had stepped on my toe and it hurt like crazy, but things have changed since then." According certain reports many of the actors in the serial were upset with the frequent change in the time slot given to the serial. What does Priya have to say about it? "I think, changing the time slot does affect the viewership. But I think, as an actor my job is to act. And the change in the time slot doesn't bother me," she says. Speaking about the oneyear long run of the show Priya says, "I think Anaya was a good role. Any girl who has been brought up in a city can probably identify with the trouble that the character has while adjusting to the rural settings." And though shooting has been an exciting experience, there have been some problems too. "The hay is my biggest trouble. I am allergic to hay and have had lot of trouble while shooting," she laughs.
Considering this is the only serial that Priya has been doing over over a year now, doesn't it get monotonous? "Yes, at times it does get monotonous, But the story keeps changing and new characters are added to the serial that keeps the excitement level high. There's never a dull moment on the sets and I like it that way," she says.
So, what does Priya do when she is not playing Anaya? "I am busy running my household errands and catching up on sleep. I have no life apart from work. But I am not complaining," she says.
