Here we shall pay tribute to the dapper. He entered CID on 29 June 2012, and instantly made a place in hearts of million CID'ians. His chracter, his actions, his dialouges, his postures, his gestures made his personality quite arresting and striking⭐️⭐️⭐️
I know, most of you may be disappointed by his exit. But this thread is not meant to spread regret over that news. It is to give that person a standing ovation. To grant him a accolade. To show gratitude. To present him privilege in return of his services, his precious time denoted to CID, his hard work, his awesome acting, his tremendous job and prodigious efforts👏👏👏
A celebrated dialogue coach of well known movies like Aurangzeb, Zindagi na mile gi dobara, Saat khoon maaf, Ishqiya, Gulal & Radio etc tried his level best to give what it takes in India's longest running crime show CID. At the end he won hearts. Fans admired him. It started with esteem and ended at applause. He earned all this fame and appreciation⭐️⭐️⭐️

When you left cid I was heart broken🥺 but now I am relieved that you left cid because now I think there was no place for you in cid😊 The team was already crowded up😳 Now I feel that you were just wasting your talent in cid as there was no place for you😳 You really entertained us as Senior Inpector Rajat in cid😳 and you will always remain in our hearts❤️

Vikas sir you are a true inspiration no matter what role, what way, or where I see you or hear you. Will miss you CID but I'm sure you'll be back with a new role in a new show with a bang! Whether it be a tough cop with a warm heart like Deshmukh sir in Khotey Sikkey or a no-nonsense but caring cop like Rajat sir in CID or a daring angry cop like Umesh sir in Powder, you will forever be a great actor, person, and being!

It's disheartening to see such a brilliant actor bidding farewell to our show. It was an honour to have Vikas sir in our show and a true to delight to watch him as Senior Inspector Rajat in all his dedication, courage and warmth alike. The fact that he won so many hearts during this past year and a half is a testament to his
boundless talent and charm. Many thanks to Vikas sir and best wishes to him for all future projects.

Rajat sir, the news of you moving on from the show of our lives has really hit me hard. For me, Rajat was the no-nonsense, tough as nails cop who talked the talk and walked the walk. Rajat had this certain air of confidence, often misconstrued as arrogance, and an infectiously charismatic swagger. The way he has been loyal to his seniors, in times of dearest need has been an example to his juniors. Very apparent was Rajat's instantaneous bonding with each of his colleagues, senior or junior. His interaction with Purvi and Vineet in the episode Chocolate Murder was a joy to watch. Also, his moment of glory came in the centric episode Giraftaar CID Officer Rajat, where his performances drew deserved acclaim from one and all.
All I can say is we will all miss you Rajat sir. I would also congratulate Vikas sir for delighting us this past year and a half and hopefully we will see more of him in the future. Until then, good luck serving the nation in whichever way Vikas sir sees fit.😃

I did not want to see any other senior inspector besides Duo. Actually I started liking him after
'Rajat special' episode,where he was trying to defend his father,specially when he changed his looks nd dressing style.His dialogue delivery was fantastic nd v impressive too👏I also had a problem that
why he always try to imitate Abhijit sir but later I came to know that actually Adi sir is his inspiration nd m so impressed to know that😃I had not seen his first show 'khote sikke' but after watching his performance in cid,must say he's a very natural nd genuine actor nd his future is v bright.so all d best to vikas sir nd we'll miss u sr. inspector Rajat⭐️👏😭
