...Similarly, Astha needs to walk out of this sham of a marriage. Shlok is a psychopath who has only harmed her and her family in all possible ways...this is a pure and clean case of domestic violence.
A woman shouldn't be asked or coerced into considering in staying in a relationship because of societal norms or to boost the ego of a sadistic psychopath. The truth is psychopaths like Shlok are incurable. They get worse with time. Shlok's character is not redeemable. This story has portrayed nothing else other than every possible form of domestic violence... A victim of domestic violence doesn't fall in love with her abuser...showing such a thing will be an extremely wrong thing to do considering the growing crime against women in India. A woman should never have to live with her abuser...Astha should walk out and make a life for herself...get financially independent and then if she wants she can find someone who would really respect and love her. This is a tale of psychopaths like Shlok and Niranjan who believes in torturing women to subdue and control them. This is not a tale of love...on the contrary it's just violence towards women.
