Repulsive Kusum and iffy Danny

If i hadn't seen the last two episodes, i wouldn't have believed anyone saying that kusum was doing all this drama of a fragil little kid whose soft baby skin would burn in the sun...🤢🤢

I mean now she doesn't even want to get her sister back? if kalika was doing this i would have understood, but kusum of all people?

she is fast becoming a repulsive character and i wonder whether i would be able to watch her anymore on the show? i mean i don't want o stop watching SC but kusum is making it un-watchable...😡

Another point i have noticed is that Danny although will always remain good at heart...i some how feel, that he is getting little weak in front of kusum and i some how doubt that danny will stand up against her in front of family in future.

Kusum had slowly started to unravel as a character back when she was playing Meera and when she got kidnapped by Pramad's goons. Because in both situations, she showed how weak as a person she is compared to her sister. So this is merely a further dark progression of her character. My guess is the cvs had seen the effect of Pramad-Kumud-Saras triangle on the TRPs so now they had to create a similar one to reproduce that effect.

I agree with you that Kalika doing this would have been more understandable but I think the whole point is that coming from her own sister makes it more dramatic and shocking. Kalika doing something to break Saras and Kumud would be expected and this threw them all for a loop. The entire family except for Yash's mom and him have been projected as basically straight characters and Kusum is the one possibility they could use besides Kumari to shake things.

Danny is still good at heart, but his change in behavior is not a sign of weakness but his compassion towards his wife. He knows that Kusum is fragile not so much physically but mentally and he is trying his best to show that he still loves her. Danny has to show her the right way but also faces the task of making this a real marriage, more so than Saras and Kumud otherwise the fake marriage will stay a fake one. Kusum's weak and self-motivated choices up until this point will be overshadowed by the strength of Danny's love. And it is love, because when you become angry with someone's behavior you could easily walk away but he is still there showing her a way out of her mess. Remember, Kumud slapped her, Guniyal threw water on her, Dadaji gave her a lecture and nothing worked. She had to hear it from the horse's mouth that her fantasy world would never materialize. And it got harder to understand because of Kalika and her games.
