Happy 1st week of RR guys! 🥳
The completion of 5 episodes that set a very high standard for the show. There was a lot of plot movement today and next week seems jam-packed, I can't wait!! Hats off to the producers, directors, screenplay writers, director of photography, cameramen, music composer, supporting cast and extras. Everyone clearly worked hard on this ambitious, big budget project and it paid off.
As for the the lead pair...is it too soon to declare they are the best jodi on TV? Because they totally are. At least in my eye! Ashish is handsome and manly, a perfect counter to Sanaya's beauty and femininity. They have so much potential. I expected them to work but not to this extent. I'm pleasantly surprised. I mean, look at them!
Their characters connected from the very first meeting. The way Rudra grabbed Paro's arm and placed her behind him protectively, without even seeing her face...the scene was epic. It was beautifully shot with the vast desert behind them. I could watch this again and again.
My favorite part was when they dropped to the ground to avoid getting shot. They were SO close to each other. I was hyperventilating like Paro. The moment they finally laid eyes on each other was perfect. The first of many eyelocks. Rudra was mesmerized by her for a split second. Then he brushed it off and got up to finish the job (he just shot the guy without hesitation lol).
And finally today, Paro's nightmare was becoming a reality...the fire in front of her, someone running towards her...only he ended up saving her life and even took a bullet for her. Rudra stared at her quite a bit after that, first when she lost consciousness, when she woke up, when he heard she is getting married and when they were in the car...I wonder what he was thinking about. Is she already in his head? I can't wait for their next meeting.
The makers did warn us about this love story so my heart is ready for all the anguish and heartbreak that is on the way. We know he is going to hate her...but at least he thinks she is beautiful! I mean that's why he hates her so I choose to look at it as a compliment. Love or hate, as long as they are passionate, I will be content.
The writers have done a great job with the story and characters thus far. I know it's not our place to tell them what to do...but based on past experience, I just hope they stay on track and deliver the intense Othello-inspired love story they promised. Please don't stray from that (Gautam Hedge, I'm looking at you 😛).
