polygamy is objectable in todays world ! though they did show it in a funny way(which was. not at all funny) but the makers did try to convey a message *osman hinting at todays children not thinking before taking huge decision as well he was irked with his wife for wanting a male heir *

nd Marriages between first cousins are allowed in
Islam. In surat an-Nisa' (4:22-24), Allah mentioned
the women who are forbidden for marriage and
then He said, "... Lawful to you are all beyond
those mentioned, so that you may seek them with
your wealth in honest wedlock..."
There is no objection whatsoever in the Islamic
religion for a man to marry any of his relatives
except those forbidden for marriage whom Allah
mentioned in surat an-Nisaa' (4: 23) Thus, when
Allah mentioned for us the relatives to whom
marriage is forbidden, we then come to know that
there is no objection for the remainder of the
family relations.

The only bit I didn't lyk in this show is dat the two leads r shown to be blood related as Zain is Aliyah mums brothers son so dat does make them blood related an I sort of find dat offensive as dis is the first show either it be a Muslim based or indian based show who portrayed the leads to be cousin even though the same thing may be practiced on other cultures to but it's been portrayed in a Muslim based show first dis is my opinion so I hope no one bashes me as I hav a right to voice my opinion
