Seetha singing devotional song "Aalankuyil..." while lighting the lamp in pooja room.

Patti comes there and asks why Seetha is so happy. Seetha says tpday is Krishna Jayanathi and from young she will have this celebration with enjoyment with other children. Patti says so happy to hear this...Sumi comes in carrying fruits. Patti says when she was young, her mother will put for her Krishna costume and after the pooja she will serve food that she like. She tells Sumi that she likes to remember it. Sumi says unfortunately now we don't have any children in the house. Patti says this time next year there will be two children. Sumi laughs.

 

Chitra comes and says there is a lot of work but Patti is talking to Seetha. Chitra calls Priya and asks her what she is doing. Priya says she has finished boiling the milk. Chitra tells her to buy angavastham for Krishna Pooja and says the rest of the items have been bought. Priya asks why. Chitra says "Oh you don't know? You have never done Krishna Pooja in your house?" Priya says yes but hesitates. Chitra tells her if she doesn't know then ask and learn and explains to her. Priya asks her to ask the helpers to buy but Chitra says this pooja is done for our happiness so Priya must undertake the responsibilities. Chitra asks Seetha to hurry up with the decorations.

 

Chitra stops and tells Seetha that she can't stand next to Ram during the pooja. All are shocked. Seetha is sad. Chitra leaves. Patti tells Seetha not to worry as God will help her and tells her to do the pooja with Ram and says she will make it happen. Seetha and Sumi are happy.

 

Priya is angry that she has to buy the angavasthanam for the pooja herself. Suddenly a man comes up to her on the street and asks if she is the daughter-in-law of the Chakravarthy family. She agrees rudely and the man tells her not to walk. Priya responds rudely that it is none of his business. The man walks off saying he just asked out of concern and that she is too proud. Priya walks on and later agrees with what the man said. She says that she needs a car to bring her to the shop. She decides to first switch her phone off so Chitra can't call her.

 

All preparation for Pooja done by Seetha, Sumi and Patti. Chitra comes and smiles at the decoration and says it is beautiful. All of them smile. But Chitra says the angavasthanam is missing and says Priya is taking too long. Patti asks her to be lenient and says the pooja is only in the evening. Seetha and Chitra go to call Priya but to no avail.

 

Priya decides that she is hungry and goes to an idly stall to eat. She takes a long time and after she washes her hand, she is shocked to find Chitra watching her in the car as she came to look for her.

Chitra lectures Priya on how late she is.

 

At home Sumi faints and everyone is worried. Seetha gives her sugar water to drink and Sumi is fine. Doctor comes and checks Sumi and says her sugar level is low and luckily Seetha save her sugar water at the right time. Everyone is happy and Chitra is proud of Seetha. Priya comes back and hears about what happens. She scolds Seetha for ruining Sumi's fasting. Chitra lectures her on how Seetha saved Sumi's life. Kalpana is happy to watch Chitra scolding Priya.
