yeah, he does not believe in the lines of partition that has been drawn just by the governements.

Ya! According to the annual tradition , one girl is married off to the other side of the border. That is why Thakur kept saying that he doesn't believe in this border theory! May be he has a hidden agenda! Only time will tell!

The thing is, the border wale villages still don't believe in LOCs... As they have relatives on both sides of the border. For them, it was a wrong thing that the govt. separated them from half their families.

Thakur-Sa is against the govt because they took away his raj, and havelis and power and such.

That's why he has turned the mentality of the villagers against BSD.

Thakur still believes that he is the ruler and the border is not decided by him. Its all by the grace of Indian government that these borders exist. He wants to impose on the villagers that there r no such boundaries and the girls getting married in their own part of the country.
