Nice topic and well analyzed.

Motherly love is surely a subtle theme that is been underlined in this show. Whether it be MJ or Yug or Adi or even Nandu the lack/want of motherly love is surely been highlighted by their behavior.

MJ - Deserted as a kid he has always wanted a mother figure. Jayaraj did fulfill this role for the most part . Whenever he sees Nirmala and her love for the other kids he has always wished for a piece of that. Forget love I think if she even accepted him as a part of their family he would be feel wanted.

Adi - FC has taken care of him while Nirmala adapted and lived the rich lifestyle. Due to this Adi has always gotten away with everything as there is no one to really stop him. Jayaraj has always favored MJ being the older son the heir hence the thought of losing the property has the woken the motherly instinct in Nirmala. RP is just using her and Adi as pawns in his master game plan.

Yug - He seems to be another one who has lost his mother at a young age . And his father seems to be busy with his sister so he really had no one to guide him. The revenge stems from that part of his lack of guidance. The lack of a mother in his life is why he is able to easy like Aradhana .

Nandu- Unlike the others Nandu has always had her mother to love and guide her. However Nandu has always felt that her mother has been partial towards Tara. In some way she is not wrong as Aradhana does always chant Tara's name and its been shown that Aradhana has a stronger bond with Tara than Nandu.

Tara - Tara has always been a favorite child for her mother and her bonding with her mother has been tight. Right now she is really suffering as the bond that was her strength is broken and she is in real need of that strength in these trying times .

Lovely post Rita. Mother's love and guidance is important to all the kids. MJ, Yug, Adi all are indeed need of their mother affection. Mj looks for a mother's love and appreciation not only in Nimmo but in Aradhana too.

Adi has his biological mother but probably she had no time for him do he his managed to find comfort in luxuries and riches.

Yug too lost his mother, his father having to look after his sis so he was just sent off to the hostel. He too tries to find comfort in Aradhana's care.

@Bani: So true, both brothers are poles apart. One feels that he is blessed to even have the hate of his mum (what indifference does, hate at least is an emotion) and the other feels that the earth is blessed to have him (Adi)

@Gauri: So true Gau that MJ is looking for love and is putting even Aradhana on a pedestal of love alongside his mum, as he has also seen how loving a mother Aradhana is to Tara or has been when he visited them.
