Sensitive topic!

Physical challenged individuals are bravest people of all, inspite of all difficulties and blessed powers do well in thier own ways.

But normal beings feel the pain and go over board helping our friends, this help sometimes is taken otherwise... kinna of makes the person in question realize what is he/she lacking for no fault.

Q - Should we offer out of way help to physically challenged people or just treat them as normal individuals and offer minimal help, if required to honor equality in behaviour ?

Ask them in the right tone and with proper eye contact. Make sure you do not feel the pity so that it is not projected in your voice and body language. Many of them will frankly say no thanks while many will ask for help.
If these are not strangers, but individuals you know, then it may get complicated.. but communication is sure enough to figure it out 😃

For some communication doesn't work... reaction project as if there is something not right done by yaa...

Doesn't "no Thanks" puts you in a embrassing situation?... u offer help in good will and get a no thanks... I can do it myself, when u know lil help is in good faith

I have been in such only once on public transport. I see your point. Raj, I see it as a bitter person's response and let go. They are not blessed with certain important things in life. We can let go our embarrassment becasue of their irritation, frustration or anger, 😳. No? After all, your kindhearted gesture is good karma raj- will come back in some other form 😳. better to embarrass oneself by trying to do something good, rather than attmpting to hurt someone 👍🏼

Sensitive topic indeed.

Offering to help with positive tone & with no pity definitely helps. Again they have pride too. If they turn you down by saying "No thanks" than accept it. Do not consider anything negative out of it. Remember it is all about them not about you.
