My title is my question, short and sweet. Two blink-and-miss SwaRon scenes, and both missing the same thing: substantial conversation of any kind. So, is this all SwaRon can talk about? Kriya's safety followed by Kriya's breakfast? And before anyone pounces on me for going anti-Kriya, I am doing nothing of the sort. I'm just having a hard time understanding how SwaRon are ever going to move forward in their own lives with their own equation if all they seem to be talking about is her. Maybe I'm over-reacting. I grant that it is a possibility. But it's been four months since they broke up and quite a while since they've had a conversation about each other or their equation stuck in limbo, and you can't blame me as a SwaRon fan if I want a little more of that and a little less of this. In fact I might not even mind if their talking about something in particular, Kriya or Rey or the cassette shaped light in the rehearsal hall for all I care, led to something that took their storyline somewhere concrete. But that doesn't seem to be happening, which hurts. And Sharon pseudo-mothering anyone the way she was today is plain weird, for me. 😳
So really, the question this post is asking as a whole follows its title: how long are SwaRon going to be in limbo? Some scenes lately have been nice, some not so great, but almost all of them have been random and don't seem to have contributed anything to movement their storyline. Unless there is a larger design at work that I cannot see yet, and if that is so I hope it makes itself visible soon because I don't know how much longer I can stick around waiting to see it. I've been waiting for nearly three years to see SwaRon happy and together properly, and that is a wait taxing enough for me to not exactly rejoice at the prospect of more waiting.
