I don't live in India but I still don't waste that much money on the movies. I go to see a few movies a year and that's it. Most Bollywood movies are cookie-cutter cinema anyway. There's very few quality ones released. Everything is getting expensive everywhere. People aren't stupid.

I would rather watch quality cinema instead of all the blockbuster garbage that directors are producing nowadays. Eventually over time, I know that other people will feel the way I do and stop spending their hard earned money on these mindless masala films and stop watching them altogether. That's when several producers and directors should start getting worried about not losing the percentage of audience they already have. 😆
