Nach Baliye Written Update - 29th December '13

The show started with

Ankur and Kanika challenged Kiku and Priyanka to dance in hip hop style. There strategy behind their challenge was Priyanka being a house wife it would be difficult for them to cope up with two dance performances.

Judges Comments

Shilpa : what kept you going was the challenge mode. In the middle it was a little slow. But the timing and chemistry that you share is amazing. 9 Marks

Terrance : Its an American street dancing. You guys were phenomenal from the beginning. 9 Marks

Sajid : As many different style you perform it is good for you. You guys were good kiku was better. 9 Marks

Rithvik and Asha challenged Gurmeet and Debina to dance on any two international dance forms.

Song : Badtameez Dil

Challenge : Jaive and Pit Step (not sure about the second style name)

Judges Comments

They got a standing ovation from all the judges.

Shilpa : Very gracefully. Debina was fab today. This performance was super se upar wala performance. 11 Marks

Terrance : Very authentic steps. A hawa tight performance. 11 Marks

Sajid : You reminded me of my times in 80s. my sister used to do these forms with her dancing partner. You guys are the winners of NB season 6. 11 Marks

Bruna and Omar challenged Ripu and Shivangi to dance on Jazz as they have done mostly romantic.

Song : Behka

Challenge : Jazz

Judges Comments

Shilpa : I am very impressed with shivangi. You guys have got the attitude perfectly. Two three tiny glitches were there but overall it was good. Marks 9

Terrance : I was not expecting much out of the challenge but it was much better than what I was expecting. God Bless you. Marks 9

Sajid : It was a mixed performance. I thought it was a run through more than a main performance. Marks 6

Kiku Priyanka challenged Ankur Kanika to dance on Bollywood style with full on latkaas and jhakaas.

Song : sheher Ki Ladki

Challenge : Bollywood Style

Shilpa : Somehow I feel you guys are still conscious. Confidence level needs to be improved. Marks 8

Terrance : The dance was in slow motion. I was amazed how the choreographer took the lyrics instead of the beats. Dancing level was not upto the marks. Marks 7

Sajid : Hold onto your will power and perform. Marks 8

Gurmeet and Debina challenged Rithvik and Asha to dance any form which they have not danced yet.

Song : Mohabbat Karne Chala

Challenge : Arial Act

Judges Comments

Shilpa : Very difficult acrobatics in arial form. This act was mind blowing. Marks 11

Terrance : Very risky act, where there is no wire attached to you, you need central force and command to the act. The transitions were superb. Excellent. Marks 10

Sajid : It was a beautiful act. You guys were looking like stars. Not for one second it felt like you guys were having trouble doing the act. Marks 11

Vinod and Raksha challenged Rakesh and Riddhi to dance on chau which is an indian form of dance.

Song : Omkara

Challenge: Chau Dance

Judges Comments

Shilpa : When you guys are performing with mask then we only watch your movements. Marks 7

Terrance : Its an india folk dance and the mukut weighs a lot. It was not one of your best performances. Sync was missing. You missed the main step. Marks 8

Sajid : I only liked the outfits but dance waise I did not like it at all. Marks 6

Rakesh and Riddhi challenged Vinod and Raksha to dance on Bollywood style

Song : Ranjha Ranjha

Challenge: Ballroom Style paso doble

Judges Comments

Shilpa : Some stunts were missing as far as Raksha is concerned. Marks 8

Terrance : I would have preferred if Raksha danced on her knees to match up with his height. I want something different. Marks 8

Sajid : Intelligence was missing in the dance. Marks 8

Hamper from Yaariyan went to Gurmeet and Dabina for their spontaneous act in one of the Yaariyan songs.

Ripu and Shivangi challenged Bruna and Omar to dance on Indian Dance form Lavni.

Shilpa : What was that. But it is the first time I saw Omar first. I was stunned to see Omar. Very good attempt. Marks 7

Terrance : there was no tikhapan which is authentic Lavni style. It was 75% good. Marks 8

Sajid : It was a very bad act to be very honest. Marks 6

Vinod and raksha were challenged to do ballroom dancing. Not bollywood. Please correct it.
And their dance form is paso doble.

Kind of disappointed with ripu- shivangi' s.
This week s performances also seem that bruna and omar will get eliminated next week.
The best challenge given in true competitive spirit was by rakesh and ridhi to vinod and raksha coz they know it' s next to impossible to do a ballroom for physically challenged.
Also vinod and raksha' s challenge to rakesh and ridhi, mayurbhang chau folk is bang on. Very very few choreographers can expertise them.
