He hated her. He absolutely loathed her. She was becoming a problem for him these days. Getting on his nerves, was her favorite time pass, it seemed. But he had to perform with her. He had no other option.
He remembered when there was a time when he had longed to dance with her, touch her, kiss her and feel her in his arms. But things have changed, people have changed, situations have changed and most importantly she has changed. She is no more the cute and bubbly girl she used to be back then. She is mature now. And maybe even this is one of the reasons why he despised her.
He used to love her, but not anymore. This is what he tries to make his heart understand but somewhere deep inside he still holds feelings for her. Somewhere in his heart he knows that he still loves her. There is still that special place which is reserved only for her.
He was angry. Damn angry on Kria. She had not come for the group rehearsals and nor for the Duet dance practice. Where the hell is she? Is she alright? Has something happened to her? These kinds of thoughts were revolving in his mind but he brushed them off and looked at his watch. Time to go back home, he thought. He picked up his things and started going to his car.
He was lost in thoughts, when he heard someone sniffing. He looked around to find the voice was coming from the Store room. He opened the door and shouted, is anybody in here? She looked up and he was numb. But how did she get locked, he thought.
He went and forwarded his hand. She held it and tried getting up but failed. He saw that she had got her leg injured. He bent down to her level and watched her serene face. She was damn scared.
Oh f**k! How could he forget that she was scared of the dark and she was sitting her all alone. He immediately hugged her and rubbed her back to sooth her. She was still sobbing while hugging him. He made her look at him. His full concentration was on Kria. He wiped away her tears with his thumb. Their faces were just inches apart and both were staring into each other's eyes. He went forward and kissed her forehead to calm her. She was just staring at him. His lips slid down her forehead to both her eyes. He travelled down and pecked her cute little nose gently. He reached to capture her lips. He looked at her face. She had her eyes closed and her lips were trembling. She opened her eyes to see him staring at her.
I love you rey, she said and what followed was a deep, passionate kiss. They both kissed as if there was nothing else in the world to care about. Forgetting everything that had happened in the past he pulled back gently and whispered I love you too.
