What happened with BB this year

I have been watching BB every year. Most of the times you can predict winner in week 1. All situations are arranged for him to win. Like shweta, urvashi and Vindu are favored, tasks are scripted to make them look good. Celebrities praise them. And Salman also supports them. Remember "Juhi/Shweta/Urvashi ji aaj aap bahut achchi lag rahi hai" dialogue repeated every season.
There is also few people which they pick on every year. It is decided before start of the season. Some names are sampath pal, Delnaaz, pratusha, kushaal etc.
It is always too predictable and people loose interest halfway, after that just going through the motions.
It was clear cut this time also. Tanisha was prepared to win. Salman was anti-gauhar, it was on his face how irritated he is kushal/gauhar even in the final. But then something went wrong somewhere. What happened, anybody has inside news.
Is there a ray of hope for future season or was it an isolated case.

My conspiracy theory is that Sangram was the "chosen" winner, but because of Gauhar's overwhelming popularity (PR or not, I don't know) and Sangram's scandal, Gauhar ended up winning. I also think Tanisha was promised a ride to the finale.

it looked like lots of pressure inside the house and bad publicity outside the house as well for gauhar/kushal. But they had supporters also.
So much pressure was put, humiliation every week by salman, and petty tactics like having film people guests say things and pandit ji who came in house. On the whole, this season was most pathetic except the decision of winner. II am sure Salman was not part of the decision.

Never underestimate the power of a common man ...BB while being all biased towards Tanman and treating Gauhar like shit had not anticipated how the common man would react to the biased treatment by Salman...and they were FORCED to change the result and break the deal they had made with Salman and Tani's family...Salman was visibly pissed off at Gauhar...but BANDER JI...KARMA IS A SWEET SWEET BITCH AND CAME TO BITE SALMAN AND BB IN THEIR ASSES and they had to declare Gauhar as the winner...

I know so many people were laughing their asses off when GAUSHAL was humiliated by Salman every weekend...well its MY TURN NOW...so here goes ...bahahahaha 🤣 🤣

The turning point was #unfairsalman. Salman didnt expect the backlash he received for discriminating between high and low calibre celebs. Plus the audiences related to the Kushal Gauhar love storyline and took it on themselves to teach Arman Tanisha a lesson.

It was the power of common man.

They had never planned to make Gauhar winner, I really don't think. Sangram or Andy were the choice, I'm pretty sure. But Gauhar has received overwhelming support online, week after week. Twitter is a huge medium these days. Bigwigs get fired and panned for writing politically incorrect tweets. Anything on twitter has a huge potential for becoming a media scandal. The production house couldn't risk their reputation by picking a safe winner this time, they had to go with the popular vote.

Agreed. This is highly plausible. People here were underestimating online support. Online popularity does not really say much about what the general public(offline junta) wants but the noise it creates can really shake things up.

Agree... I think they didn't have a choice cos Gauhar's vote margin difference from the first runner up was huge... Ernst and Young audits the votes... If it was a less margin then it wouldn't matter... I doubt that Tanisha got more votes than Sangy and Ajaz but ll that my opinion...
Colors plan backfired as more sympathy votes went to Gauhar after the backslash... And more importantly she gained a lot of supporters for STANDing up...

I think Sofia filing a case against Armaan was the final nail in the coffin.

Tanisha's win would have looked very bad after this.

Salman was caught in the middle of all of this looking bad. Armaan is a shameless fellow who has destroyed his family reputation over and over, jail is his second abode so it doesn't matter to him but Salman is getting dragged into all of this.

I agree with most of the people here.
Sangram or Andy were the chosen one. All these wouldnt have happened if Salman had given TanMan same treatment that he gave to Guashal.

His unfairness made Gauhar so popular that she won. She should technically thank Salman for his behavior, she would have never won without his rudeness toward Gauhar😆
