who is shoba de and vijay?

who is shoba de? i have watched one of her shows but who is she? is she a journalist? and who is this new guest vijay? i read in one of the posts about kingfisher and him. what is kingfisher? is that his name or some kind of company?

As far as i know, Shobha De is a writer, she wrote a book, writes coulmns for newspapers and magazines. She is regular in Page 3 parties and I guess she does some of voluntary work also. Vijay Mallaya (i gues thats how his last name is spelt) is a business tycoon. Owner of Kingfisher airlines. He recently joined politics , not sure Rajya Sabha or Lok Sabha. He is regular too in Page 3 parties. Well thats what i know about them. I would appreciate if someone could add on to my knowledge about these two or correct me if I am wrong somewhere. just to add a bit Kingfisher is actually a famous Beer in India !! He ownes United Breweries wherein Kingfisher is produced.He named the airline after his famous beer.Shobha De is a writer,columnist and also a regular at Page 3.She is also in TV production of serials.

Shoba de is a Page3 columnist, writer, and regularly on page3 herself. Very opiniated, people love to hate her, and some actually love her....

Vijay Mallaya has financed a Movie called THE FOREST, he is damn rich and hence a regular Page 3 item, sorry when damn rich that was an understatement....HE IS A FREAKING PRINCE... I once watched a doc on him... His yatch is fabulous, his house is a palace...and even his bathroom could have a house!!! That big....

Vijay also owns a company in Dubai called U.B group and a villa in Jumeira where all the rich folks live. He once bought the sword of Tipu Sultan at an auction from London to Banglore for 1.5 crores.

Well actually he didnt really begin it all from scratch. His father began United Beverages and made it a success. His name was Vittal Mallya. In fact a street in bangalore is also named after him - Vittal Mallya Road. Vijay Mallya took over the company after his father's death. None the less, Vijay has done pretty well and taken UB to new heights and also ventured into new prospects along the way.
