If sources are to be believed, Tanuja kept her calm throughout the finale (she was invited by the channel to come to the finale as somebody ought to receive Tanishaa when she exits from the show!) and didn't say a word throughout, but the moment the shooting wrapped up, she took Tanishaa to the vanity van and both of them were arguing. Tanuja made it clear that she was extremely upset about Tanishaa's closeness and romance with Armaan, and doesn't approve of it.
The source goes on to add that Tanuja informed her that Kajol too is extemely upset with Tanishaa's behaviour in the show. And Ajay Devgn, who's so far had Tanishaa as the co-producer of most of his films, doesn't want to be related to her anymore! And the story doesn't end here. Goss is that the family wants Tanishaa to discontinue her relationship with Armaan, and they also plan to send her to UK, in order to maintain a distance amongst the two, ahem, lovebirds!
Post this episode, Tanishaa, after stepping out of the vanity van, told the media that her family is very happy with her and support her in whatever she's doing.
While we wish this is untrue and Tanishaa's love story wraps up with a happy ending (like most Bollywood films), we can hardly ignore gossip and what the sources claim. Plus, those who didn't watch the finale closely, would have missed the body language of Tanuja when Gauhar asked Tanishaa to lift the trophy with her. Everyone clapped but Tanuja didn't (aren't mothers the first ones to be proud to see their kids on the stage. Remember Kajol in K3G? ''Mera beta stage pe hai, ek seeti toh main bajaungi") and her expression was well, nowhere close to that of happiness.
Tanuja told the media that she's been watching Bigg Boss 7 each day and have been shedding tears looking at Tanishaa. But sources placed behind the stage of the grand finale episode of the show state that Salman had to request her to make an appearance on the sets (otherwise she just wanted to stay inside the vanity van, pick up Tanishaa and leave). And when Salman asked Tanuja whether he should call Armaan, she quietly denied his request. Indeed, the yesteryear actress denied acknowledging his presence completely.
What will this lead to? Will this be a 'Dil ke Armaan aansuon mein beh gaye' (pun intended) sort of a typical, old-time Bollywood film situation for Tanishaa post this show? Will she be forced to live in the UK for a while till her feelings for him begin to fade?
But then, why is Tanishaa's family coming across as a Jaani Dushman (pun intended) of Armaan? According to sources, her family disapproves of Armaan because of multiple reasons. To begin with, his reputation is hardly that of a noble man. He's abusive, a woman-beater, and apparently bankrupt (generally many celebs agree to be a part of a reality show to settle their debts, right?) too. Also, he's said to be a hardcore alcoholic. Now, obviously, all of us can visualise the whole scene of, 'Hum apni beti ka haath aise ladke ke haath mein kaise de dein?'
