Overheard: Ranbir Kapoor Talking About Marrying Katrina Kaif

For a while now, people have been speculating that Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are already engaged. Kareena Kapoor Khans appearance on Koffee With Karan only added fuel to that fire, since she claimed that she would be dancing to "all superhit songs of Katrina Kaif" at the Ranbir/Katrina wedding.

Mrs Khan even referred to Katrina as her sister-in-law, leading many people to believe - or at least hope - that marriage would be on cards for these two young Bollywood stars. Interestingly enough, before he left for his holidaywith Katrina, Ranbir was overheard talking about how crazy the media is going over his marriage rumours. Industrywalla got the details, so read on!

Industrywalla says: Those waiting to hear wedding bells between Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will be hugely disappointed. I am told by a source that during the rehearsals for the Filmfare Awards (that he is hosting along withPriyanka Chopra), RK was heard telling a friend that the press is going mad deciding a wedding date for them. It doesn't amount to anything, though, because Ranbir also told his friend that both he and Katrina have decided to give their work all their focus. In fact, he was even heard commenting that Katrina is more ambitious than he is, and so he doesn't want their relationship to stifle her future in Bollywood. After all, we know how the industry tends to perceive married heroines. It is sweet of him to think about her (again), although if he asked his "behna" Kareena, I'm sure she can tell him that married actresses don't necessarily have to be out of work - she isn't, for sure!

Katrina is on the same page too. She insisted during a recent interview that the Koffee With Karan remarks were made only in jest, and she does not have any plans to get married soon. So no, a wedding is not on the cards as of yet.
