good taste and public morality is really mean for satellite TV channel like FTV. Fashion and public morality, after that relating this with good taste. What exactly government wants to show by this?
Howcome fashion will show the morality, is beyond imagination. I mean from now FTV has to show one 'Public Morality Fashion Show' (!), in which all the dressess of Indian culture and history will be reflected. FTV should show the dresses of wearing small upper cloths of Mahabharat's period, Kama Sutra fashion will be on hit for showing Indian culture and public morality.
The channel was first banned on February 2002 for a week for showing too much flesh of the body parts. "Midnight hot" like programmes are so much hot that government don't want to show this in summer from April 1! Is it really going to explode so hot in this summer?
The AXN satellite channel in India was also banned in January, owned by a unit of Sony Corp., for two months for showing programmes such as the "World's Sexiest Advertisements" which the government said were also against "good taste." It, however, lifted the ban on March 1 and really good taste was maintained with good taste and public morality under Indian law. Do you really mean for that? Till what time we' ll understand that morality and good taste are not absolute terms. Indian history is full of examples with ultra dresses and is it not really keeps morality and good taste.
