well I agree with Ian Chappel, he is past his prime and its time he gives way to youngsters . I am not saying that he should retire immediately but maybe stay for a year or two and then retire .
as for some who say that he is not responsible for the debacle , I would say every player was responsible in some way for the debacle . Sacin is considered God is some parts of our country and its time he gives back . I wont say he didnt but at present he isnt and thats what should be a yardstick .
players shouldnt be judged on their past records but on their present form and record and thats what should be the yardstick for every plater however great he is or was .
as for Ian Chappel , well if Sunil Gavaskar can pass comments abt Australian team and Ricky Ponting and Drag late David Hookes in it then we shouldnt complain if Ian Chappel comments on Sachin .
