Hi Nits... As usual , u have made some valid points... But yaar I felt that it was a complete raddi episode y/day...maybe after that sizzler tabela epi , I was expecting more developments on the A-P front but a short shocked congrats by angad ended that one ....plus yaar what was that fancy dress party all about ..... such rubbish.... Well so commonly dressed and yet poles apart(that stark diff was nicely conveyed!) & josh looked anything but gabbar singh and like u said, Mishty looked too made up …. Too pucca pucca with all her makeup and outfit….. Josh rocked all the way ….. atleast he is trying to bring the two together … however immaturely he mite be trying …. He's a sweet heart! Aliyah seems to have lost all bearings…. And anitahhh …. Well the less said the better about this irritating female....And Prithvi-Bechaara Prithvi despite his support and sacrifices, he is destined to love a woman that can never be his....
The only two highpoints were, like u said, the 2 times Angad rebuked – nay openly rebuffed lady love ---kripa... and (even more enjoyable) both times she was visibly chagrined !!! I enjoyed that.... it dawned on Kripa that he was in fact pushing her in Prithvi's path and I think the rebellious streak in her kinda objected to that.... Hows' that for an emotional cocktail?? Hence the gestures of throwing away her purse and her barely concealed shocked face at being handed over to Prithvi for a dance ... Yep That Rocked.... So.... Angad did slap her twice......U r 100% rite on that account..... Oh! what fools these mortals be :)
Ok. Now as to what these two things could mean ( i.e. according to me) : I may be grasping … But I think that Angad is playing the reverse psychology game with kripa. (God, I sure hope he is--- all toes and fingers crossed for this to come true)...coz u know that he knows she has decided to succumb to Prithvi's ehssaan. If he tried to reason with her plain and simple, he'd lose out to her morals…. So I think that very cleverly he's fighting fire with fire: He's adopted a different strategem: Make her realize that he is still under her skin… make her yearn for him again and force her to admit her emotions for him and make her respond to him on an emotional level. If he is doing this, its not new …. Coz remember he has a good head on his shoulders...he knows how to play games with her.... Remember when he play-acted at being suffocated in that vintage lift scene? He wanted to see kripa react to him and he played her like a fiddle: Kripa's ice maiden act came down with a bang … all raw emotion exposed… she was frantic, in a frenzy, all pretense out the window, on her knees trying to revive him…. Oh what a scene that was…. But I digress! Now I am hoping that he'll fight her impending self sacrifice and decision to unneeded martyrdom with his usual Angadian arsenal …. In a calm and cool way, he pretends to be mature in his defeat, but all the while his grey cells are a churning away! Is that dangerously cool or what …. Kripa gurl…. U aint got a chance in hell of succeeding against this steam roller (to borrow H's words).... wat do u think abt my line of thought Nits???
👏👏👏...You are bang-on target with that reverse psychology thing. Angad , even in this Rockstar Devdas mode is still a steam-roller who can corner Kripa anytime, anywhere, anyhow just as he pleases.
