Regarding Indian Written Updates - Page 3

I dont think reemz intention was wrong or anything as you can see a few people have noticed the differnece to before. No complaints because you guys do a good job but you guys are busy so no harm if reemz asked if someone can do it regular. Especially for people outside india its inportant since we dont see the episode till four days later and not everyone watches the video.

Because if we were, we as a team could have addressed this issue internally.

If I'm not wrong most of us have informed the forum about our not being able to do the updates. I for one mentioned it in my own update (and presumed that moderators are needed to read all posts hence the message gets conveyed). Even the others have made it very well known about their postions. Yet we are being questioned like this????

We all do the updates because we like to, we enjoy it... but the most important reason is for the place this is...for what it means to us.

But are we not entitled to our owm problems. We can have our own isuues and problems which we may may not want to share.

I know I'm not the only Coolbie around, so I need not take offense. But I did. Because whenever I write an update I do so with all my heart and I know it is not a joke to sit and write an update. And an issue like this being brought up in this fashion hurts my sentiments atleast. We love this place as our own and this post shows that our love is not really reciprocated.

We are in no way obligated to do an update. Its purely our will and love for this place that anyone does so.

And regarding there being no updates on the forum... how is it possible...when I myself have read most of them.
Yes, there are no longer live updates, but there are updates coming in. Doing a live update is the updaters own choice. This was probably the first forum to have had the practice in place. But if for some reasons it is not being practised now, should it be questioned.

The KS track is also responsible for the current situation, but that can not be blamed entirely, because we as a forum and as fans have seen much worse times.

Pooja I do not understand why there is any need to be angry at this post. It was not to attack any of the coolbies. I firmly believe that the coolbies are the most valuable people of the forum, without them the activity would be very little.

Nor am I say you HAVE to update. Please don't ever think that you obliged to do that, no-one is. But my point is that I have not been told whats been happening, I have no clue. So what am I supposed to do when the updates arent coming and members are asking for them?

I apologise if my post has insulted you in anyway but I never intended to do that. All I have to make sure is that the updates are done. I don't have any complaints to the coolbies because as I said before they are the most prized members of the forums. I just wasn't told anything....who is updating, who isn't...nothing so even I felt slightly offended.

Hope you see where I'm coming from.

i understand your concern as you are the Moderator and wish to have all things in their places..
but instead of making a post you could have enquired through PMs.

KS section is may be the only section on IF with Max number of Coolbies and i havent seen a single day here where update were not posted.
even when Monika-Khoo controvercies happened, there were people to do updates regularely so members of KS section do not face any inconvinience....

i think Ks is going through a very rough patch but that is hardly the reson why some Coolbies have reduced their efforts. as far as i know almost all of them are having personal problems which are intimated to sangs if not through PM then on the general discussion posts

i agree that live updates are not coming these days and again i would say that KS's degrading quality has nothing yo do with it. its entirely a coolbie's call to do updates live or after the show is off air as not everyone have PC and TV in same room.

arch and sujatha are doing great updates these days and on few accasions i have done them too when i didnt see any update posted. whenever they were not available sangs have done it who again is Cool Viewbee so i didnt see any one except Ks Dev team members doing the updates except i think on one occasion....

again in this post uptill now everyone is simply complaining about updates not coming regularly and stuff like that but i dont see anyone ready to do it for few days till regular Coolbies resolve their problems...

i urge people to come forward to do the updates and share few ounces of responsibility off Coolbie's shoulders..

PS: please stop relating KS's current track and this problem. KS has before gone through worst phases like that (ONS and Aftermath) but updates were as regular as they can be....
i hope people understand that even KS dev members can have personal problems

Hi Himali,

Thank you for understanding but the time was such that I had to make a post fast as I was getting PMs asking for updates when they weren't coming. As I said before, you guys make the forum what it is, so please don't take offence of this post. But the fact is that I haven't been informed if there have been any problems on behalf of the coolbies and I've been so busy with uni that I had no time to PM each and every updater. So i made this post.

Anyway, if the updaters are still there, I'll assume there won't be a problem further?
