who will win the debut awards this year male and female?

MALE
Dhanush - ranjhanaa
Sushant - KPC
Amit Sadh - KPC
Girish Kumar- ramaiyya vastavaiya
Manish Paul - mickey virus
Varun Sharma - fukrey

FEMALE
Taapsee pannu - of chashme baddoor
Nimrat kaur - lunchbox

I will just say one thing, and one thing only.

That is, it is an insult of Dhanush to be even nominated with the likes of Sushant, Girish Kumar and Manish Paul. It is ridiculous honestly.

Anyway, for best newcomer female, my bet's on, Nimrit. Fascinating girl.

I have seen Dhanush's south Indian films,so I know that he is quite good. He delivered yet again with Raanjhanaa. Although,I dont think he should be tagged as a newcomer. He is a well known actor down south.

Its such a sad thing that kolaveri di gave him all the popularity ,which he deserved much before that song happend to him. *sigh*

DOnt under estimate the power of a south indian 😎 (Yes.Its the south indian in me talking 🤓)

Among the girls,I quite liked Veena in SDR.

Dhanush & Nimrat are the best debutants of this year acting wise.
For the awards question , i feel Sushant can win over Dhanush coz he has the glamour quotient which Filmfare or many award shows prefer.

PS: It's a Bollywood debut, Illeana and Asin also won every debut award in the years following their first BW film although they'd been working in the south industry for years.

It's unfair to nominate Danush in this because he's already acted in movies before. I'm pretty sure Sushant will win the debutant awards. And of course, Nimrat Kaur for the Lunchbox.

We had so many threads on this earlier also, so many discussions between Dhanush vs Sushant- hua kya? Manish Paul got the best debut in Big Star Entertainment Awards. 😛 This time also be prepared for anything to happen.😆

I am not sure if Nimrit is a debutant- I remember someone saying she has done small roles in the past.😕

ETA: My choice: Sushant/Dhanush for male, and Nimrit/Vaani for female. I guess we just have to wait and see how the nominations will play out.

sushant and nimrit my choice. dhanush is a veteran of south indian films its unfair to make him win in newcomer the award should go to someone who is truly a newcomer.
