Good post, Jot!

Ekta and CVs have butchered all the older characters in the show! Some of them did 180 degrees turn from the way they started out!

Soham's character is also pathetic now! A completely inhuman, callous father! His character had such potential to be reformed and changed to positive before the leap!

But then Ekta hates anything positive in her shows! She thinks only negativity sells!

I disagree about Soham always being this way. He was once a kind-hearted human being on the wrong track bc that was his environment. It was amazing to watch when he came to know abt his true identity and his real parents. He changged so much.. Even his scenes with Ovi were amazing. But then he just went psycho.

Actually Soham's bonding with Purvi started when he was still a goon. They always shared a very sweet sibling bond.

Like even when he didnt know she was his sister, he didnt harm her when he kidnapped her! He had that much decency in him even as a kidnapper/ extortionist!

There was so much potential in his character in terms of reform and growth. If only they had shown him getting married to Gauri and becoming a good son to ArMaan, that would have delighted most viewers!

CVs deliberately destroyed Soham's character before the leap and they ruined ArVi story by forced separation at the leap which butchered their characters! This is quite obvious!

Yup i remember those scenes with Purvi. He was always very loving towards Varsha and fiercely loyal to whatshisface --- i forgot his adopted father name!

Yeah Ekta is an expert when it comes to butchering her own characters. Character growth is one thing, but character assassination has become a regular thing in all her shows 😆 not just PR.
