PUHLEEZ! bollywood people and their hypocrisy. there is a thing called evidence based policy making, google it!
millions of dollars in global health research are being flushed in to India, proving that anti smoking legislation is needed, especially for the lower rungs of the social ladder.
granted there needs to be more advertisement for quitting helplines along with the anti-smoking warnings, doing nothing isn't very helpful. just because you the privileged, rich, educated man is informed about the ill-effects of smoking doesn't mean the rest of India is.
for the greater good, just suck it up and let the health officials do their job for once, they don't wake up often in other cases.
creative liberty you say, you've got two hours to show that. five minutes of psa won't kill the film. or is it because you could have used those five minutes to feature paid ads that garner you tons of corporate dollar? I like your work but when you act solely out of self interest, I question your value as sympathetic human being.
DO NOT try to manipulate people into support your minority cause. we need this legislation, that is why it is put in place.
there is a reason the developing world has higher smoking rates that the developed countries. it is because people like you who advocate on behalf of the tobacco companies. I wonder how much of your films are paid for by them behind closed doors.
I just...gahhh this angers me to no end, trying to persuade people to support a cause that will harm them in the end. errr!

I don't even know why but I was banging on my keyboard the entire time. I don't think I have ever been this angry in my lifetime.*rolls eyes so much they fall out of sockets*
