Season 2, they would have to redo the story and make sure to be consistent with their characters, not butchering characters to bring twists, if they want to do the revenge of the male lead because of a bruised ego the pain the heroine faced she should not return to the guy until very much later, they can see each other professionally (start the heroine track, then much later bring them to be a couple again, they would see each other as single people professionally) Here what happened is perhaps on the hope it will give them more TRP, they made the heroine weak, If they hadn't done that I think they would have had a steady growing audience, they went for too much and sacrificed the lovability of their characters, if they wanted the revenge of RK they can still do it the 2nd time round because of ego, but show it all along so the audience is aware of why he is doing something to us the viewers, many shows have copied this revenge saga of the anti hero marrying the girl...iss pyar season 2 is the same, tumhari pakhi the only difference is they are showing the guy to us the viewers his reasoning.
During the break bring another guy for the girl who was ditched, but make sure he is a viable alternative, the guy should work in the same industry a producer or actor too, that makes the love triangle again but this time it's more viable, then decide who the audience prefers of the two guys, if they still want the first guy the TRP feedback will be sufficient to decide. Here they brought Sultan as a gangster showing to us the viewers that RK would always be the best option for Madhu. Leave it open what have they to fear.
Girls side of the family need to be there to supporting cast can't just use them in the beginning of the show and then decide we will run the show without a mayka of the heroine. Momentous occasions are happening for the heroine without her side of the family being present.
Just a few things I'm thinking,.
