Hi everyone,

A few weeks back I had asked about the languages known and spoken by our members here on the forum and found that Tamilians were in the majority with lot more South Indians too...

So I wish to know how many are into classical music --- Carnatic music --- as the music season is on now for this whole month...

Obviously, as you all know I live and breathe music and am completely enjoying the performances by all the artistes!

Please share...your music interests here...

it could be Hindi, classical, Western or anything else!

My Interests depends on my mood swings...

Joy - Bollywood songs

Peace - Ghazals : Hari haran, Talat Aziz, Pankaj Udas, Jagjit Singh

Stress reliever - Carnatic - love Sudha Ranganathan ( though I don't understand but love listening)

and one of my fav Hindi old song that soothes me - 'sukh ke sab sathi dukh mey na koi...'

and ofcourse -

M.S.Subhalaxmi ---- more than the music...the person that she was...feel small in front of her when my ego/arrogance/anger takes over...

ilayaraja melodies i love to listen them...when ever i get a chance i just get into the feel of the song

i love music alot to listen mainly melodies...as south side im more. love ilyaraja hits..dsp hits ..harisjairaj like lot more who compose beautiful melodies i eavesdrops..nd bollywood music it was also my favrite ..i like old nd new watevr which comforts me i just thr nd enjoy music alot...
